I personally think he was going to be attached to Death Row in some shape or form forever. It wasn't in Suge's interest to kill him. It was going to be Makeveli Records distributed by Death Row. I find it hard to believe considering Tupac was throwing up Death Row East signs literally a week before he passed. I hear Makavelli Records was going to be a subsidiary under the Death Row label. I remember in 1993 when Tupac was asked about whether he was still with Digital Underground and he replied by saying "I don't wanna be nobody's worker all my life. I want my own own kilo" and "Shock a hustler so he understands" (Blackwatch Interview). Basically saying that he was never going to be tied down, that he'd always be a boss. He wouldn't leave Death Row the way Dre did, Tupac was all about loyalty and it was Suge that got him out the pen, so Pac felt he had to ride with Suge for that alone

DeathRow East was gonna be run by Eric B. Pac had nothing to do with it. He was just promoting the label by having the name on his t shirt. The last day of Pac`s life. Pac was not wearing his DeathRow chain like he usually does. he was wearing a Eufanasia chain, which was the name of the company he started. And at least 2 people associated with Pac said that Pac was leaving Dr and was gonna release songs on his Eufanasia company. One of them was Wendy Day who said she was shopping around for a label Deal for Pac. The other one was Pac`s Bodyguard who suspiciously died after revealing that and other things like how he feel Suge set Pac up to get killed.
