I lived a humble life with my wife, 4 children and 8 grandchildren, I am almost 70 now and If I had to do it again I wouldn't change a thing. Have you ever heard the old saying money does not buy happiness, well the hell with wealth because at the end of the game we all go into the same box.
It is easier for a camel to enter eye of needle than a rich man to enter heaven. Unless the richman uses his wealth for the benefit of the poor, the road to hell is wide open. May be at the most 70 years of socalled ego, after which 70 times 70 billion times and still not ending, the abode of eternal hell.

We all want our children to do better financially than we did. Some of my Uncles were more prosperous than my grandfather. My dad on the other hand, had to work hard to make a living. My brother earns more than me. But I earn more than my older brother. My oldest daughter makes 3X what I did when I was her age. I believe that choices we make early in life dictates our earning potential later in life.

We need to keep them in prayer. Throughout the Scriptures, Jesus fed the hungry. He commanded His disciples to feed the poor and heal the sick. The Church has the responsibility to help those that hunger and clothe those that are naked but they are neglecting to meet their responsibility. If the Church truly dedicated itself to fulfill these areas of their calling, God would provide the resources. It is not up to government and we can see how they are failing. It's because it's not its job. There is much to pray for and much to proclaim.

It is important to understand that net worth does not translate into actual spendable wealth. Just because someone's networth is 100 billion doesn't mean they could go buy something for 100 billion any more than you can. It just means they own and control assets worth that much. Their taxable income is likely orders of magnitude less than their net worth.

@tomtube1012 No, most of these guys pay themselves an annual salary, which is their taxable income. Typically, no more than a few hundred thousand dollars per year. Their assets, planes, yachts, even homes, etc. , would be owned through various LLCs.

It makes a huge difference in the quality of your life. True wealth allows you to basically go where you want when you to and do what you want to within the law. True philanthropists could make a big difference with their money if they chose to. Example potable water readily accessible to all of africa. My ex-wife and I put two children through private colleges Depaul University and Columbia college both in Chicago. We had to make sacrifices but now I sit back at 63 years old and I’m very proud of both of them. I personally never went to one day of college, but with common sense I ended up making a good living.

There needs to be an overall growing liberty instead of prohibiting liberty by increasing government force from more laws, regulations/taxation on scarce capital, and increasing taxes on businesses that inhibit new wealth creation by entrepreneur individuals!

What you learn from this list is that it is almost impossible to duplicate the strategies on how people become rich , just over 20 years Google was operating in their home garage and Yahoo was the bigger search engine , it would be impossible to start a company like Google today , the same applies to Amazon started very small just selling books , who could start a company today to complete with Amazon and get the same revenue as Amazon ?
