The more characters the show introduces, slowly, the richer the show becomes. I don't think there is a single episode that if I caught it on TV flicking channels, I'd skip past. They're all gold.
I have every single episode of Porridge on dvd and have watched them so many times I can quote them verbatim. The christmas edition when Fletch, Godber & barrowclough are held hostage in the governers office is legendary 😂
One of my favourite episodes. It's just the hilarious absurdity of the situation. More characters to come yet too! Genial Harry Grout is a great character. I've a soft spot for Ronnie Barker. A genius wordsmith who brought to life some fabulous characters.
After the butter under the hat is revealed, clearly bekinsale is meant to tip his head down and the butter drop into fletchers hands. The stunt didn’t work but I guess they didn’t have time or budget to do a retake. So pleased you’re enjoying porridge man, I absolutely love this show, sadly almost every cast member is no longer with us, but this show is a legacy for them all

A triumph for the writers to construct a compelling plot over something as simple as a tin of pineapple chunks!

"No it's not, it's a tin of pineapples" has me in stitches every time!
A brilliant start of season 2 and it gets better and better 🙏😊😊😊

I had a dog and a cockatiel a few years ago, me and my bro decided that the dog was Barraclough and the Cockatiel was McKay
Always a pleasure 🇮🇪

One of my favourite episodes (along with Happy Release, The Harder They Fall & Pardon Me)
That's funny because those are my favourites too. 👍👍
@@dalewalford2630 You have taste 😊
That's a plant! No it's not, it's a tin of pineapples! 😂😂😂😂
Josh did you know the actor playing Lennie Godber was actress Kate Beckinsales dad ?
See if you can spot David Jason ( Del Boy) in this season
Richard Beckinsale (Godber) - great loss to comedy. I cried when I heard he'd died (I'm that old).
Favourite episode
Haven't seen this for years.. Nice one. The young one is Kate Beckinsales Dad.
“That’s a plant!”
