This song and new disaster are two of my most favorite songs to play, they’re beautiful. He was really prolific in his ability to write amazingly sad music true to his own style.
Good job, this is great. Tough song to play. Elliott smith songs sound somewhat simple on the face, but once you dive in his songs they are so extremely complex that it sheds a light on his massively talented ability to write a good song

New disaster is also one of my favorites, but very hard to make it sound right!
@@jakobstenersen very difficult song to play, it took me awhile to play it correctly while singing. I imagine that’s why he didn’t play it live.
melancholy perfection
My favorite track on New Moon! Nice job!
That's beautiful! Keep it up!!

That was awesome. Great job. Im gonna have to try and learn that one now 👍
Thank you. I posted the tab in one of the comments below, the tricky part is mostly getting the downstroke strum with your thumb right.
can you please ss the tabs from notepad ?
Note perfect, if you did a tutorial I reckon you'd get crazy views.
Beautiful playing. Do you know what string gauge & brand you’re playing on? They sound great tuned down like that
Thanks😊 Those are the stock strings that came on the FG5, around a 6 months old I think.

@@jakobstenersen Wow! Greatly appreciate it, beautiful arrangement!
@@SirScabs No problem. Thanks :)
is that an fg5?
Yes! I was super lucky and got one imported to a local store, even though it usually is really hard to get a hold of. Best guitar I've ever played.
