please can someone explain what a supermarket would be under? so if a supermarket ie ASDA sells branded products such as cocacola / heinz etc but they down own these brands, what strategy does that fall under?
Supermarket is just a merchant. They just resell products and they dont own these brands. They simply buy in bulk for a lower price and sell for a higher proce to make profit. I think youre confused - this doesnt have anything to do woth brand architecture.
Why is Apple 'Branded House' instead of 'Sub-brand'? I think it's "Sub-brand" because the iPhone itself has a greater proportion than the brand name Apple.
