I thought that you were going to read us a poem when I read the title ;) It is so lovely there, isn't it? I could watch footage like this often, it is so calming. Not sure if I would be as happy walking in it, but I can enjoy it from afar ;) I would be fearful going up those steps towards the end, the old legs aren't as steady as they once were!! 👴
I was like a kid ! I jumped up, grabbed my camera and ran out the door. Marion was wondering what was going on. The quality of light, before the sun came up, was so unusual ! Hi, Duong Ha !! This is one of my favourite videos. This is the little river which flows in the valley beside my house. The snow can be very beautiful when it has fallen, fresh and even like this. Yesterday we saw our very elderly friends (90 and 95 years old ) they can’t really talk, walk or eat without help, so we help them. The late dinner party was with people of our own age. Interesting that you watch a European game of football. I myself, have never watched a game of football, but some people in Scotland do follow the sport at football pitches and on TV. We too had a long time on COVID-19 lockdown, 18 month of restrictions, some of which are still in place. A lot of people we know got sick, or very sick, and quite a few people we know died. Hi, TEV ! Glad you enjoyed this wee walk. The birds ? Yes people put food and water out for them, the snow cover never lasts longer than a day or two at a time and there are still berries and bugs to be had. The magpie and jackdaw birds gather and hide surplus food. There are some small fish in the Kittoch River now. It was very polluted, by the time it reaches this point it has come through a big town (77K population) and three industrial estates, so is never the cleanest of rivers ! Wow, so much snow! Here in Texas, it was actually a really cold day... but it was only 41 degrees (F) haha so I doubt it was anywhere near as cold where you filmed this video. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day my friend :)

Hi ! I was watching your lovely video of making scones and afternoon tea, when your new comment came up ! We have now had four good falls of snow so far, more than usual for half way through winter, the snow and ice only persist for a few days at a time. I have a German built car with ‘xDrive’ all wheel drive, and I have my winter tyres on just now! That is unusual for this region, but I live 500 ft. above sea level by the moors, and my home and drive are towards the top of a fairly steep hill. My neighbours slip and slide and finally abandon their cars; I waft on past !! ;-)
Yes it is, a BMW 3 series ;-). I used to get out and help push people’s cars in the snow. I am a bit older now, so I think it best just to give a sympathetic smile and a friendly wave. 😊 👋

Hello Cathy! Yes, more snow, and ‘nicer snow’ than usual, if that makes scene. This is our third fall of snow so far. I could hear plenty of birds but couldn’t get close. The fox was keeping an eye on me! Think he is used to having the woods to himself at that time of day!! Cheers Don ;-)

I was like a kid ! I jumped up, grabbed my camera and ran out the door. Marion was wondering what was going on. The quality of light, before the sun came up, was so unusual ! Hi, Duong Ha !! This is one of my favourite videos. This is the little river which flows in the valley beside my house. The snow can be very beautiful when it has fallen, fresh and even like this. Yesterday we saw our very elderly friends (90 and 95 years old ) they can’t really talk, walk or eat without help, so we help them. The late dinner party was with people of our own age. Interesting that you watch a European game of football. I myself, have never watched a game of football, but some people in Scotland do follow the sport at football pitches and on TV. We too had a long time on COVID-19 lockdown, 18 month of restrictions, some of which are still in place. A lot of people we know got sick, or very sick, and quite a few people we know died. Hope things are ok with you ; are you able to work from home ? Cheers, Don 🙋♂️

Hi, TEV ! Glad you enjoyed this wee walk. The birds ? Yes people put food and water out for them, the snow cover never lasts longer than a day or two at a time and there are still berries and bugs to be had. The magpie and jackdaw birds gather and hide surplus food. There are some small fish in the Kittoch River now. It was very polluted, by the time it reaches this point it has come through a big town (77K population) and three industrial estates, so is never the cleanest of rivers ! Hi ! I was watching your lovely video of making scones and afternoon tea, when your new comment came up ! We have now had four good falls of snow so far, more than usual for half way through winter, the snow and ice only persist for a few days at a time. I have a German built car with ‘xDrive’ all wheel drive, and I have my winter tyres on just now! That is unusual for this region, but I live 500 ft. above sea level by the moors, and my home and drive are towards the top of a fairly steep hill. My neighbours slip and slide and finally abandon their cars; I waft on past !! ;-)
