UPDATE! I love the Tiger Lily Queen blush stick! It stayed fairly pigmented all day. Unfortunately, the Tinted Blur Stick and the Mini Set didn't work out for me. I returned both to Sephora. The Tinted Blur Stick remained very dry looking and emphasized texture and by the end of the day it made my skin look and feel even dryer. And the Mini Set creased on my eyes, and I very rarely have that problem.
Oh no! I’m sorry the minis didn’t work out for you. I have the mini set, as well, and I love the Sunkissed and Sweet Peach Peony as blushes. In the Nude is beautiful, as well!
Hi Michele! I'm so sorry you had this experience. I suggest using our Tinted Blur stick as a tinted blurring primer prior to using foundation, or use it in spot areas to blur/blot . In terms of the mini set -- As it is a cream product, I would suggest dusting a translucent setting powder on top or primer your lids before use :)
Loving the shade Sunkissed at the moment! It's great as an easy cream shadow too. That mini set is so cute! I'm fairly new to Nudestix outside this product but certainly planning to try more 👌 x
I use the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless filter all over my face and then the Nudestix Tinted Blur Stick in the center area of the face and it’s perfection, try that!
I use sun kissed as a blush-I think it can be either! I love it on my eyes too! The full size sun kissed is the packaging you like! Bondi bae is their really popular bronzer shade!! Haven’t tried that yet.
It's hilarious to encounter such a peaceful, refined channel via Rich Lux (lol - enjoy him though), but that's how I found your videos. I've watched probably 15 of your videos now, and I absolutely love your work. Can't wait to see more!
Love Nudestix. The Nudies Nude Stix (the foundation/blur stick) does click if you press hard. I couldn't live without them but consider them more of a blur stick/not a foundation stick. I put blush on my hand a bit then pick it up with the brush that's on the other side. I can't go on enough about how much I LOVE Nudestix, everything, Please keep trying them Michele. They're wonderful ♥️👍🏻
Hi Michele! As an East Asian woman whose grey hairs are very evident against my black hair, I would like to say that I’m so happy and refreshed to see you wearing your natural hair out and looking AMAZING and naturally gorgeous. You inspire me to have more confidence in my natural hair!
I have been bouncing back and forth on their blush sticks because I LOVE cream products! Think I may give it a go. I’m absolutely in love with Bite Beauty multi-cream sticks the color almond is gorgeous. Highly pigmented. 2 dots and I use a brush to blend it out
Yesss LOVE Nudestix! I've got 5 blush sticks, tinted blur stick, about 10 of the combo sticks, a highlighter stick and planning on getting more of the range. So perfect for quick looks while my toddler is attacking me lol
I love the Nudestix blush stick in Poppy too! Also, for us WOC the shade Maple is the best...:) love the Tom Ford shade on you, finally a color that I feel may be worth it.
Don’t toss the tins! They are very handy during travel to put scissors in them or other sharp instruments, or to store vitamins or any other small objects.
Hi Michele, I love your videos & reviews, I would be very curious & interested to see the things you put in you travel make up bag? Thank you & more power!😘
The specific eye sticks last much better on the eyes. The all over color sticks I find are good in a pinch , just for a quick like running errands look. I wouldn’t say they fully complete a look for like , all day. But the specific ones, work great & last great.
If you decide to give Nudestix another try, try Bondi Bae as a bronzer. I wear the same foundation shade as you do and you might prefer it. Don’t let the matte in the product name turn you off. Also Naughty n’ Spice, same formula, is a great blush color. I am so glad you tried that Donovan lip color today. I wanted to see it on after your mention in your last video, i’ll be picking it up. Gorgeous! Thanks for the video.💚
The nudestix products that work best on my eyes are the ones called magnetic, there are mattes and luminous pencils. I love the color fig! For traveling this one is great! I swipe it across my lid and blend. I can make it look Smokey and I can make it have a dimensional look depending how I blend. It blends well both with fingers and brushes. There are also a bunch of wonderful metallic colors. It would be worth going back into Sephora and playing with some of the testers on your hand to see the colors that best suit your taste. I know Nudestix sells kits online. They are a great buying option. But, the magnetic pencils are really better suited for the eye, probably more so that the kit you were using. I Enjoyed the video! Have a great day! 🤗💐🦋🌞
The sun kissed color is supposed to be more of a sunburn look bronzer. The regular bronzer color they have is called Bondi bae. It comes in the same packaging as the tiger lily queen you have. Regarding the different formulas, there are two kinds of blush sticks. There’s a matte one, which is like the sun kissed formula, and a dewy one, which is like the tiger lily queen formula. The highlighter also comes in a lighter color. The one you have is the medium. If you like how they wear, you should look into hand picking your colors.
Michele Wang I think you would really like that! I wore it yesterday, and it stayed really well in 100 degree heat. Once you get it, I would love to know how you think it compares to other cream bronzers, especially the Chanel one. I really want the Chanel, but have not pulled the trigger yet.
The new blushes are less matte than the others. I have “in the nude” which is a matte peachy nude. Favorite one and done eye sticks are “twilight” and “nudity”. Use a synthetic brush to blend and move around. Use a finger to blow out the edges. The gel formula lippies are better than the mattes. I had wondered about the blur stick but worried it would be drying.
This was fun! Agree that those colors weren't the greatest for you, and the wasteful packaging drives me crazy...seems not in keeping with what I consider more of a millennial brand. I do have one eye color that I love called Nudity...kind of a sheer light bronze. Very pretty and easy to swipe and go. Thanks for a Sunday video, Michele!
On camera, everything looked really pretty and the Tom Ford lipstick and Sisely lip pencil really finished the look beautifully. I do like the eye shadow sticks and might try the cheek colors. ❤️💋❤️
I love the Nudies Bloom blushes! My fav is Cherry Blossom! I also enjoy the eye pencil in Taupe..it’s great in the crease and as a liner. They have very nice kits on the Nudestix site. Thanks Michelle...wonderful video as always!
I always love waking up to your videos! I haven't tried any nudestix yet but I do have a similar product from bite in the color cashew that I find useful. I'm usually pretty much a powder girl though.
I have some Nudestix & really liked them. Hvn't gotten a blush yet. Sometimes cream blush emphasizes my brown spots. Get my foundation perfect, then mess it up w/ the blush. ;) I'll prob try one @ some point. When I'm super lazy, never want to mess up my brushes w/ cream products. Hehe Because I know I will have to super wash them. More jobs 2 do. End up using my fingers a lot. Thanks, nice 2 hear your thoughts. Hvn't seen any good reviews on the blur stick. Probably works for people w/ perfect more oily skin? IDK not going to try it. I'll use my Tom Ford stick!
May I suggest that you have a look at Trinny Woodall’s packing video for her recent trip to LakeComo. She has some genius ideas for packing skincare etc
What a coincidence. I still need to try Nudestix and I was thinking about it recently and then I saw a TH-camr I really love use some products and they seem so lovely. And now you are playing with this brand and I’m sold. Anything Michele uses.. so I think I want to try the blushes and bronzer type of products mainly. 😁 haha xoxo
I think the nudies bloom is the new formula. I agree with you about blush powder in summer. I started to use my lipstick as blush but have now purchased the Nars multi sticks. Great review 🐨❤️🕊 I just remembered I have 2 Chanel sticks I use as blush as well one I use for contouring as it’s a slightly darker colour and a reddish one I think it’s number 25. I got these to stop me using my Chanel lipsticks as blush. TH-camr Matilda does a great review of stick blushes. Being a Sydney sider makes her reviews extremely relevant to me as I bounce between Sydney and Brisbane Australia 💚🐨🙏
I think that sunkissed bronzer (which I believe is supposed to be an all over face product, so blush as well) is very similar in tone to the Natasha denona blush bronzer in her latest bronze and glow palette. They are tones that can work as bronzer and blush. I love that! I also love red undertones in my bronzers so that could be why.
Michele, first I want express my gratitude for your video. I love it. I love everything your videos, content and your voice. I am an anesthesiologist and makeup addict. First in my morning(5:00 am), I always check your videos. I decided to decrease my collection and I don’t want to buy any new makeup but Lisa Aldridge lipsticks are very intriguing for me. I would like to ask you. Did you find any similarities with Pat McGrath matte lipstick? Thank you again, Victoria Belopolsky
The Lisa formula isn’t quite as thick or slick as the PMG. While I find the Lisa formula to be a bit more comfortable than your average matte lipstick they have a teensy bit more of a traditional feel vs the PMG.
oooo you're going to Japan? What will the weather be like when you're there? I have the hardest time packing makeup because I use different products every day!
I’m so disappointed I missed out on the Minis. One day they were there in my Sephora basket. The next gone nowhere on the nudestixs website or anywhere else. I love the blur stick.
Please check out Three Cosmetics. Sold at high end department stores. Known for use of natural ingredients. Nice line of skincare products too. I love their pencil eyeliners.
I have never been a fan of such products, I don't know, these seem to be out of my liking for make-up. I hate seeing my make-up running off my face during hot summer but cream products still don't sound alluring to me. Also- creasing, ugh. And I can't stand wearing cream eyeshadows- they slip down and cloud my eyes within seconds, omg, I can't stand it! That dry effect on your skin... I hate that, I feel like I get allergy attack just imagining how it felt. Thanks for your review and an Update! Have an amazing weekend, Michele! :)
Hi Michele! Have you ever tried R+Co hair products? They are my favourites at the moment (e.g. the televisio line or the cactus shampoo). On their website their is a video for each product and the hair stylist is just hilarious 😂
I have been very curious about nudestix products and a bit ago I picked up the poppy girl bloom blush and I ADORE IT! I goes so pretty with my pale oliveness. That nudies bloom color does look so pretty on your eyes and cheeks definitely! Also got the magnetic eye pencils and I actually love them as liners not as all over cream shadow. You should try bondi bae all over face as a contour since is a bit more neutral (that one is on my wish list). I am glad that you tried the blur stick since I was about to pick it up and now I know it’s not a good idea. Oh lucky girl! I miss Japan with heartache. I really want to go back!
Well the lipstick Donovan really looked great on you. I knew you weren't going to like the blur stick. I was told it wasn't great for dry skin and stayed away from it. The blush looked good. Have you been wearing the Westman Atelier foundation and blush at all this summer? was wondering if you found it to be drying?
Tiger Lily Queen is beautiful! I looooooove cream products (I have dry Sahara desert type skin), they tend to last a long time in me. I kick it old school... still use lipstick on my cheeks (in the tradition of my gran and glam aunties and some uncles 😊) my fave cream blush products are my fave lipstick colors.
BTW, what did you think of the Kjaer Weis cream blush? I knew you weren’t thrilled with the color you ordered, but I wondered if you returned it or kept it. I’ve been using the Reverence shade all summer
Hi! Love your videos!!! I have a question for you. You mentioned the possibility of returning a make up product, how does it work? Can you return a product that you tried out? Thanks! 😘
Hi, yes - you can return products to Sephora here. I believe you have 30 days? Department stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks don't usually take returns on used products though. Nordstrom does.
I just got Sunkissed but used it more in a blush position and it looks well sunkissed, lol. Shame you returned it before trying it as a blush/bronzer rather than contour. I like the Tinted Blur but I use it to spot conceal rather than putting in on all over.
Hi Michele why don’t you try Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter use it on top of foundation it makes your skin glow ! It’s gorgeous I always tried under foundation but the difference on top it’s amazing ! Those sticks are not good they are not the most flattering! Sorry !
That Tiger Lily Queen is a gorgeous colour on you. Shame about the blurring stick as it looked lovely and natural on your skin after you put it on initially.
U should hav gotten bonda bae bronze color to contour not the Sunkist that’s a blush. Then there is concealer they hav that’s very creamy that Alanna recommended too actually all three I said she recommended. So just some thoughts on what u should hav actually bought frm them.
Dear Michelle! Greetings from Budapest, Hungary! I love your chanelle so much! You are classy, entertaining and credible, a joy to watch and to listen to. I would be really glad to see a Delilah Cosmetics review from you! It is a British brand, available at Lookfantastic.com, for instance and the brand's own site, of course. I have discovered their products this spring and quickly became an avid fan! Their Time Frame Future Resist foundation is my ultimate favourite now, I completely stopped using all other foundations I own - and those are not bad, La Mer, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Armani among others - after using it during the spring months, when my skin is the driest, it performed so well, that I rushed to buy a darker shade for summer, when I unfortunately sweat a lot, and this foundation didn't let me down! The shade range sucks, there's a lot room to improve and expand, but you and I have similar complections (me maybe a little warmer than you), so I guess you can find your right shade. I have rather dry skin + not a young girl already (being 43), and this foundation is like a treat to my skin! I also love their primer, bronzer, stick concealer, brow products and mascara, which gives a quite natural effect, nothing dramatic, but has an amazing staying power! Long story short, I highly recommend this brand, and would LOVE to hear your opinion! Have a wonderful day! Krisztina
So bummed Sunkissed didn’t work out for you. It is very peachy but it’s more like a bronzer/blush. The color Bondi Bae is actually more popular.
Oh no! I’m sorry the minis didn’t work out for you. I have the mini set, as well, and I love the Sunkissed and Sweet Peach Peony as blushes. In the Nude is beautiful, as well!
I agree with you. However, you really need to try the Bondi Bae bronzer. It goes on beautifully and it’s such a beautiful bronzer color. Enjoy!
u used them already and u returned them???? how does that even happen??
Hi Michele! I'm so sorry you had this experience. I suggest using our Tinted Blur stick as a tinted blurring primer prior to using foundation, or use it in spot areas to blur/blot . I love the blur stick as a light concealer. Perfect for humid climates

Yes you will not find drama here. You will not find any trashy products here either. It’s nice and out community needs Michele.
I've only tried a few products from Nudestix - it was fun to see what worked for you :)
I really like their magnetic eyes sticks. Their matte and metallic sticks are GORGEOUS.
sunkissed is the PRETTIEST blush!! I'm obsessed
Love Nudestix. The Nudies Nude Stix (the foundation/blur stick) does click if you press hard. I couldn't live without them but consider them more of a blur stick/not a foundation stick. Lmao I saw the title of nude stix in like huh?!!!
So true 😁, life’s too short 💄❤️🕊
That Tom Ford “Donovan” takes the cake. Whew! 💋
I really love watching your channel. I find you calming as well as value your opinions

Thank you!!
The blush is gorgeous
I love Nudestix! and the Tiger Lilly is my favorite!
Nice rundown of these products. My interest is definitely piqued. I think the look you created is perfect for summer!
Thanks Karen!
Good morning Michele! The blush stick is very pretty! Donovan on the lips looks 🙌🏼
Thanks Paola!!
That Tom Ford lip and Sisley liner was a gorgeous combination.

I am loving the blush in sunset strip... I bought when I was in NY. We don't have the entire range here in Italy.

I am glad that you tried the blur stick since I was about to pick it up and now I know it’s not a good idea.
Oh lucky girl! I miss Japan with heartache. I really want to go back!
Oh wow Michele you’re coming to japan ! Viewer from japan here! Would love to meet you! 😁 love your videos!
Donovan looks amazing on you! I was wondering about the blur stick myself. Thanks for your thoughts on it :)
Thank you Jess!
Thanks for the review!!
BTW, what did you think of the Kjaer Weis cream blush? I knew you weren’t thrilled with the color you ordered, but I wondered if you returned it or kept it. I’ve been using the Reverence shade all summer
I kept it! I love the formula and while the color is a bit light, it’s very pretty on those no makeup makeup days.
Hey Michele 💖
I have been meaning to try Nude Stix. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!!
You are so beautiful!!
The mascara by Wander is very nice.
Love nudestix! Also that wander Mascara ismy favorite!!!!
Thanks Samantha!
This is good to know!!! Thank you for the information!
I just got Sunkissed but used it more in a blush position and it looks well sunkissed, lol. Shame you returned it before trying it as a blush/bronzer rather than contour. I like the Tinted Blur but I use it to spot conceal rather than putting in on all over.
Thanks Julia!
Yes TF lipstick made your makeup complete. Let us know which items you decide to bring to Japan.
Hi Michele why don’t you try Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter use it on top of foundation it makes your skin glow ! It’s gorgeous I always tried under foundation but the difference on top it’s amazing ! Those sticks are not good they are not the most flattering! Sorry !
Thanks Elizabeth!! xoxo
Love the Tiger Lilith Queen on you. BTDubs sounds like it would be your alter ego’s name.
😂 it does! Thanks xoxo
Krisztina
You inspired me to skip undereye concealer today😍
Do you plan on getting new brushes in Japan?
Ofcourse she will😄
Nice to see you reviewing this awesome Indie brand from (my hometown) Toronto, Canada :). The mini-nudies set in available on Sephora.ca !
