Import SVG from Inkscape into Synfig

- This video goes over importing an SVG from Inkscape into Synfig as a .SIF file. We go over scaling the svg once in Synfig and how to manipulating the nodes of individual paths to get around the following error:
"The value you are trying to edit is in a composition which doesn't seem to be open. Open that composition and you should be able to edit this value as normal."

When I import the sif file all my empty spaces are filled out. It's a black and white image so now it's all black... what am I doing wrong? It looks fine on Inkscape...
