Thanks a lot for sharing such beautiful stories about the she oak. I just noticed it is everywhere in Sydney’s national park and playground and was attracted by its cute seeds shapes, so I searched in youtube and it took me to your video. I definitely will tell your two stories to my kids. Thanks again. :)
Hi Cathy, yes as it's native to Australia. Definitely it's more appreciative if you look at it closely. Glad you loved it! Your kind words are very much appreciated. :)
Thankyou. I have a special camping place within a copse of these trees. People called them pine trees but I knew they weren't pine trees. Now I not only know their true name but so much lore about them from our original Australians. As a father of 6 I especially enjoyed the story of the lost kids sitting under one an d the snakes not liking the area. I will be keen to learn more from you.
Hi I just brought 40 she oak saplings to plant here, is there any way to tell the male from the female with these saplings ? Do they have to be planted together ?
Casuarina trees >>> Can even be found near rivers or shorelines in Singapore too! Love them >>> Reminded us of Christmas trees of the Tropics! 🌷🌿🌍💖🕊
