We are in need of an end table for our outdoor seating area, and we thought why not experiment with new tools and techniques and create our own! Option 1 can make a cat face.
The tab inside the handle is to prevent the chainsaw from becoming unplugged. Put a loop of the extension cord through the hole behind the tab, loop it over the tab, and pull it tight.

In the glass world what you are creating with the wood side table is called Battutu - mimicking a honeycomb type design.

Will these only be used as stools ? ( insert doody meme reference here he he ? ) I saw some circular cross sectional slabs in background suitable as a tabletop ? They might need some bracing or base extensions to increase footprint for stability to use in that fashion. Was expecting you to char the dimples as well a second time, but add contrast by washing and scrubbing excess char off before finishing with sealer.
We will probably do more in the future because this was a really fun project! It's fun to test out different ideas and I really love the shou sugi ban effect :)
