You can also double click on a word, ctrl + d to select all similar words and perform the wrap with abbreviation. The shortcut I use for that command is ctrl + alt + w
@@Noam-Bahar This is such an often used feature, that I've changed the shortcut to just Cmd+D, makes it even quicker, and there wasn't anything useful to me associated with it
Thanks, have been wanting a shortcut for this a long time and turns out there was one! P.S. You could have just alt + double click the "this" words and skip one more step/shortcut Edit: oh, it was said before :D in that case another one - you can alt + tripple click to select entire sentence
What about pycharm? For example in vscode i think, you can do this. animal>bird>h1 And when you press enter it gonna show you, div with class animal and another div with class bird and so on. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
You can also just put your cursor on the first "this", then press Ctrl+D once to select the whole world and two more times to select the other two "this".
doesn't work on xubuntu..if i hold ALT it'd just select the vscode menu (it doesn't show multiple pointers like in the video). it works on windows tho or maybe because i'm using xubuntu in virtualbox
Great video but would be better as a full youtube video rather than a short. Subtitles appeared at the top so I couldn't see what you were doing to add the class. Fortunately it wasn't hard to figure out...this time.

woooowss
And Ctrl+Shift+L selects all instances of the word in the document
Helpful, also Ctrl + Shift + L selects all occurrences and if you wish to deselect any you can ALT and left click on them.
