It’s incredible how Xiaojun keeps on surprising us, especially when he’s in NCT U projects. Don’t get me wrong, I love him in WayV, but there’s just something different when he’s in NCT U. It’s almost as if his abilities and charisma shine brighter. ANYWAY, stan Xiaojun, y'all.
My theory is XJ in WayV is the primary vocal support. His role is primarily to harmonize, adlib, and do the crazy high note. It doesn't leave much room for stealing the show with his performance. In NCT U projects he get to play more of a colour vocalist role like Haechan. That gives him more room to shine since he at least get the share the vocal support role with Doyoung.
I can see what you mean, even I have noticed it. Maybe that's why Taeyong always mentions that watching Xiaojun and how he tries to improve is really applaudable. He just hits different while promoting in Korea with Korean songs. In MAW too, during the end chorus the center part that he has, I loved and appreciated when he always used to do new freestyle moves for his parts, it already shows how much is he passionate about it.
Yangyang looks extremely handsome and he seems to have an amazing stage presence. I noticed he caught all the cameras movements, he is good at spotting it.
