- Weak back legs in a puppy can be a worry, however, depending on their age, it could also be completely normal.
We also have an in-depth article about this on our site:

Telling people to take them to the vet after 8 weeks is kind of obvious. I have been doing exercises with my dog, having her jump up a little to get the toys she loves, about 10 times during the day. I do have another vet visit coming up, but in the meantime, I am working with strengthening them with exercise. It may be that the dog's development has been slowed by not having a large enough space to run around in or not being exercised enough.
Puppy is 9 weeks and suddenly the hind legs began weakening. She started out very vibrant
U mentioned puppy but not said what age is normal for them to be a little wobbly and what isn't
My grandma pup is about 3-4 week, he cant move one of his hind legs, granny said it was like that since he was born, when i try to touch it, it was so stiff, but it doesnt seem to be in pain, he walks funny, there is no vet in around 200-350km, and i cant take him to a vet because im riding a bike, i dont want him to get cold
I have a 6 week old English bulldog who can’t stand on his back legs or bend them. Would this work for him? He still wiggles them & tries to hard to get them underneath him properly😔
Hiiii I having a female pitbull of around 12weeks but since yesterday she’s feeling weak and feels pain while I touch her . And feel uncomfortable in walking .
It's a good idea to take her to the vet if she's in pain.
