After almost 2 months of work, the 1.6 100 Days video is finally here! I will say, this was the roughest time I had making a video during the last year or so. A mixture of dehydration and a nasty cold resulted in the vibes not being immaculate while recording the voiceover. Don't make the same mistake I did - drink plenty of water and look after yourself! This is also the first time in around a year that I've made a standalone 100 Days video instead of a compilation consisting of the videos in a series. I don't know if it's just placebo but I feel like this video is a bit rough around the edges. I apologise, I'll do better for the 200 Days video. Regardless, I had so much fun playing the 1.6 update and discovering all of the new things that have been added with it. I'm excited to continue with it and explore everything I possibly can. I hope you all enjoy this video, it's on the longer side (I am addicted to rambling) so make sure you have a drink and maybe a nice snack with you while you watch it, and thank you for your patience as I know it's been a while since my last upload. Yay!! Another video i can watch about 20 times because i will fall asleep within minutes and will just have to rewatch the whole video every time until ive eventually watched it all. Its actually such a treat, a gift that keeps giving. I usually struggle to get to sleep so this is wonderful!

You have to do 3 tasks then get a ticket. Like from the board the stars say how many you have done. Third task gives you ticket. Just saying. Learned from another video.
It took me way to long to realise that, I think it was near the end of Fall that it finally clicked for me. I skipped so many tasks because I assumed the ticket system was random 😅

i loved this video! You have the perfect pace for a year in the valley and it shows how much time it actually takes to get through one year in the game, when most 100 days video usually glaze over what happened instead of going indepth

For your future runs, Gil's reward for killing the bugs is actually a decent sword! When you hit that goal i was screaming at the screen because that sword wouldve helped you out so much in early mines. Great playthrough!

Secondly, I completed the CC via junimo's and I also get the Joja bird and the creepy man in the cave on the island, which is a bit weird, but oke. And finally, I'm very very happy with this new video
Part of legecy randomisation is clay farming but It also effects mines ladders (meaning ladders no longer have a pattern so for most people will be more common) And creates (although different to 1.5 creates)
That makes a lot of sense actually, it felt like I was finding ladders quicker while I was in the mines. Especially on the dark floors 30 - 39. Thank you for letting me know!

I'm not sure if you figure this out later in the video, or if someone else pointed this out in the comments. But the tickets are given every three quests on the quest board, kept track by the stars. So if you want tickets just keep fufilling quests.

I’m only at day 11 but hopefully you found out at some point that you get a ticket for every third (or fourth) villager quest (the stars are counting the number of quests not the difficulty) so doing all of them gets you more tickets faster.
I wish you could chose to start with a coop on the other farms as well. I get that each of the farms have pros and cons, but I'd love to have it as an option on other farms that aren't ideal for crops.
There is a boulder on the right side of the fence along the joja mart - blacksmith path that's blocking something new. I'm sure you found/remembered it by now.
That was indeed the boulder I was looking for. I found it pretty early on, around the middle of Spring I want to say, but I completely forgot about where it was until I stumbled upon it again and found the trash can there that gave me a book
You probably realized it, and I haven’t gotten there in the video already. But the rock you tried to break and your pickaxe wasn’t strong enough to break… was likely in the quarry mines. Newly added area there with the rocks blocking it.
I definitely plan on continuing the mega modded playthrough, my goal is get the "200 days of the 1.6 Update" video uploaded then continue the modded series. I'm thinking about adding even more mods for that playthrough too so hopefully it'll be worth the wait! 😊
Just stumbled across this when I searched for Stardew Valley videos. I noticed something, still early in the video here, and im curious if there's a funny little reason for it or something. You never say Pierre's name. Its been "Caroline's Husband" and "Abigail's Father" only so far.
I don't think I've talked about this in a video before so I'm glad you asked. Caroline's husband beat me in the Grange Display competition at the Stardew Fair the first time I played the game. I was very upset about that and remembered it while I was writing the script for this video so I decided to avoid saying his name as revenge 😅
I can't believe I forgot about that rarecrow! And the jack o lantern crafting recipe too. I'll have to write a little note to remind myself to go to it during year 2, thank you for reminding me about that 😊

That's completely valid! I agree with you, and I've just found out that the Joja related stuff on Ginger Island can still be used even if you do the community center route. I thought I wouldn't be able to see any of the new Joja stuff if I didn't do the Joja route, very much regretting not doing the community center now

you were right about the legacy randomization, not sure of everything affected but it did patch clay farming and winter tilling
