Replete with dozens of palms and lush foliage, a winding drive leads one to the residence, which is flanked by two 3-car garages. The single-story estate built in 2000 offers 7,518 square feet under air, six bedrooms in the main house, an office, six ensuite bathrooms and a powder room. Soaring ceilings and oversized impact glass windows allow for natural light to permeate the living spaces and bedrooms. Brilliantly designed for a large family and for entertaining, the flow of the house is natural and connective. An open kitchen with top-line appliances opens to a breakfast nook and a large family room. Large bedrooms are set off from social areas and three bedrooms share a large den/lounge with built-in desks for homework. The master is split on the east side of the property along with the office. All of the social areas have expansive views towards the resort-style backyard and private lake. A covered walkway leads to the guest house which also has an ensuite bathroom that doubles as a cabana bath.
The five-star backyard amplifies South Florida’s year-round tropical weather. A covered summer kitchen with all of the amenities including icemaker, wet bar, grill and mini-fridge invites frequent al-fresco cooking and dining. The 100-foot long pool includes stepping stones to literally allow you to walk across the water. At the far end of the property is an institutional-quality in-ground trampoline and playground. Along the shore is a pier and a separate floating dock. A life-sized chessboard is an additional amenity for those competitively inclined.
