- The Venators of the Blood Moon Hunters attempt to spike the water supply of the foul Obsidian Syndicate. The Syndicate will stop at nothing to prevent the contamination of their drinking supply... but is something more monstrous also be lurking in it's oily depths....

Wild turn of events after the shotgun ammo fire. That cepahalox was big enough to hang a "Union Jack" from it.
The big guys are always the ones that are easiest to miss somehow! Need to put in a +3 to hit anything over 10ft tall rule!

Such swanky reports! I'm glad to see a 4-armed Delaque gang, I've wanted to do one for a while but haven't gotten around to it, so its nice to see some conversions in action!
I think the venators should hire an 'explosives expert' (read: maniac only armed with throwable bombs and a knife) and enjoy the action that follows ;)

Yeah, the microphone is dogshit. I'm looking to upgrade. What your hearing is after a lot of hair pulling out and attempting to get rid of the buzz. So a compressor is the way forward do you think?

Nice batrep! I subbed earlier today... looks like you've picked up 5 more in the meantime! IIRC, seriously injured fighters can only crawl 2 inches, but I can't swear to it. If this were 1996, I know that'd be right. ;-) 70 credits? I haven't looked at the Venator rules, but I'd spend some of it on armor. Always nice to have an armor save, even if it is just a 6+. Better than nothing.
Thanks Dan! Armour is an excellent plan. Desperately in need of protection against the deadly autoguns! Yeah, everything made sense in 1996, I never trust these now fangled rules! In this new one you can crawl half your movement allowance if I'm not mistaken. I probably ballsed this up in game due to my stupidity though! Thanks for subbing!

Thanks! We just made the scenario up! I'd just finished making the big water pond in the middle and wanted to use it in a battle, so why not poison it! And why not have a monster in it! Just the rambling thoughts of a delusional mind really
Maybe a grav pistol? It's 70 creds and since Book of the Outcast available on the trading post if I'm not mistaken. By the way, I'm not sure if the Venator champion would have had the oportunity to recover from that injury after the card being played? I'd say so, the action took place right before the Recovery phase if I'm not wrong. Anyway, a great Batrep, full of character and awesome miniatures, your conversions are outstanding! Great Stuff!
Oooh, grav pistol! Good call. Never had one before apart from the Ambot upgrade, but that's like giving a bazooka to a blind badger. Couldn't hit a barn door. Yeah, there was much debate about the champ getting a recovery roll, cos the delaque Ichabod died in the end phase on his recovery roll, so the whole shooting action occured in the end phase... In the end we just decided he didn't get one cos it was such a good shot it deserved a brutal injury! But yeah, tricky. Thanks for the grav pistol idea! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the Bat Rep. The Emperor Protects!
