I couldn't learn German because I coulnd't feel the attraction to the language, I thought there are too much "RkhkrR" sounds, like French.
But I could learn Finnish more easily and I felt the emotional attraction because some of its grammatical rules very resembled to my native language Turkish. I even say that Turkish also secretly sounds like %5 percent Finnish :D Every Turkish knows some Finnish word even from the birth. Possession suffix "-n"is same in both of them: minun benim, sinun senin. Origins of some verbs is same, Unohtaa(FI) Unustama(EE) Unutmak(TR), Unartakh(Mongol). Onnea ongun...
the only dissapointing thing about Finnish is; the usage rules of negativeness indicator Ei, Estonian is much simplier.

That’s interesting to know. I don’t know very much about Turkish or Türkiye, so it’s nice to know that there are some connections there. 🤝 I know it’s quite a unique culture between Europe and Asia and in a very strategic location. 🫡
