FACTS! You are exactly right. We need to be our own advocate. This is our body and we know how it feels and what is going through. So what you are saying is very educational to everyone. Thank you.🙏🎀🎀

I used to do human resources, and had a solid say of heavy dripping. Next thing I know my sinuses BLEW up with an infection and it knocked me out for an entire week. This was in my 20's in optimal health. Totally devastated my body. I can understand your doctors in this. That being said you need to do what your gut tells you sometimes. You're awesome!!!

Hey Shannon. As you know I’ve been following you because we are the same with our diagnose....triple negative, Stage 2, lymph nodes and on the same exact week and on the same exact chemo drugs, Taxol. I was disappointed to see your video today because although I can tell that you’re angry about all of this, I feel necessary to tell you that you must listen to the doctors. They are not your enemies, they are trying to keep you alive. I had to take a sick week myself a few weeks back and I wasn’t happy about it but I’m glad I listened to them.I have been every bit of my own advocate and I am well informed thru my own research. But I know that the doctors are on my side and they’re just trying to keep me alive through this whole chemo process. There have been plenty of people who have died during chemo due to complications such as pneumonia. I know it’s tough, I’m having a real hard time with Taxol today because I am starting to develop neuropathy with my fourth treatment. I know when I call on Monday they are sadly going to have to tell me and I might have to come off of it to prevent permanent damage. But I will do what they tell me to do because with as much information as I have researched, the doctors know then me. Please listen to them and do whatever it is that they tell you to do my dear, it’s in your best interest. And without getting really too Holy-Rollie’ with you... Im certainly going to suggest that you turn this over to God more for His help. I believe in being positive, loving and keeping my faith. I CAN understand your attitude, but it is only going to hurt you not help you. Strengthening your faith In trusting your doctors is the road I think you need to be on right now. Walk this walk with me and we will get through this together!. God bless.

Hi, Thanks for your response and I respect your opinion. However I think that what is being lost is the point that the Dr agreed with me as I have no other symptoms than a runny nose, and therefore released the chemo. At the end of the day, it was her decision, not mine. I do listen to my Drs, so I'm not quite sure where the understanding came across that I'm not. My point was that I will challenge opposing viewpoints when needed, or, where I feel it is warranted. If you are in agreement with everything your Drs tell you, that's great. Thank you for your prayers; and I hope that your neuropathy gets better.

You don't have any nose hairs. I was stuffed up until I completed chemo.
