Finishing The First Cutting of Hay With The Drum Mower

I am running late on hay this year. I like to have it all done before the first of July but this year's weather has not cooperated. The weather forecast looks for the next four days so I mowed everything that was left down.

Brilliant video but does the grass look kind of rough maybe a bit overgrown like it should have been cut a few weeks earlier maybe it's just the climate n your part of the country your video it's like being in the tractor and beautiful scenery too kep them coming from your fans n Ireland

Like the old man would say it will be better than snow balls this winter, I was late this season also but maybe the seed will fall and reseed some new grass for later hay, enjoyed the video Mtnfarmer

i cut some saturday too got rained on today and gonna get rain tonight then high chances wednesday, i saw the same weather forecast you did when i cut and now its changed

The clip starting at like 15:00 is my favorite part. Love the sound. We’ve got a new holland tn70 open station. We cut with a Kuhn 7 foot disc mower. Do you mainly run 2nd high range when cutting? The hills get rough here in East Tennessee too
