    Thanks for this video, it was really well edited/recorded. Pedal sounds amazing. I live in Taiwan so I'm thinking about picking one of these up, partly to rep the local builder but also because... it's a great-sounding pedal. Edit: Okay I bought one, there was only a couple left in stock.

    Very versatile sounding overdrive! Both ends of the tight knob gives sick sounding tones that are contrasting, really sweet.

    You should also try to run it at 18v, makes a HUGE difference on any drive pedal that can support it. Feels like you can push the walls somehow, just way more headroom

    Great pedal, it is for sure very versatile! Nice guitar too!

    I have a sunless green 100 fuzz - one of the best pedals I've ever played - I swear by it as my 'fuzz overdrive' when I'm using something like a big muff or a BAT pedal

    Nice work what an awesome pedal - not enough though to replace the precision drive from my board - wait I guess I could just set it next to precision drive and use both. I'm getting one.

    If you hook all of your overdrives together with a Tube Screamer, it will open a black hole and suck the planet into itself.

    Great demo. Really cool to see the different features, both through a clean and a dirty channel.
    I am curious about the Tight knob. If you the pedal, and have the time, any chance you would do a Pink Noise/Spectral Analysis with the pedal? I am always interested to see how a pedal affects tone through a pink noise generator. That way I can see stuff like harmonic content, how the high pass or shelving on the tight works, etc.
    That would be a cool video, although a bit technical and nerdy

      It's a low shelf.
      The switch acts on its corner frequency, in the low end, as said in the video.
      That's all.

    have you tested the 16 Ohm version of the captor? have not found a comparison of those units.

    • @MilianMalivukMusic
      @MilianMalivukMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the same product just for a 16ohm amp. I don't believe there's any tonal difference.

  • @TheSaniwaa
    @TheSaniwaa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Also, it's funny the pedal kinda has a BM-1 Dragonfly sound, just way less fizzy

    • @sunlesseffects
      @sunlesseffects 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know the BM1 but on The Winter, the very high frequencies don't get boosted while turning the tone knob up.
