Bonjour!
my compass and the compass backlight stopped working almost like a year ago, never fixed it, guess this video is a call to action lol. Do you have any idea if its fixable? I know that the bulb can just be replaced, but the compass is not working, only the display shows up blinking...
Have you tried recalibrating it? Press the "S" button in the bottom right and drive in figure 8's in a big empty parking lot. If this doesn't fix it, I'm not sure the unit itself is repairable. There are only some tabs and a couple screws holding it together, so I suppose it's worth a look to see if anything is obviously wrong internally. It is replaceable independently of the rest of the 3-pod cluster if it comes down to it.
In my case the bulb was just burned out - it worked ok, but you couldn't see it at night. This is an instruction on how to remove and disassemble the unit to replace the bulb
If they are all digital, check the plug and wiring underneath. Sounds like if nothing works, the module could be not getting power. The altimeter and inclinometer are mechanical on this one. This inclinometer doesn't work either - they are filled with fluid from the factory, and the fluid drains out after the years. There's a way to fix them by re-filling them, but I haven't tried it yet.

My compass looks like that all the time?
Is it just the bulb to get it working again?

Good day, you could try replacing the inclinometer with an autool x95 like this youtuber:
