On my wishlist would be a Nikon Z 8II with the actual AF-features, improved low light performance, 46MPix, without the video features and longer battery life at a price tag ~ $ 2.500,- 2.800, -.
Just bought Sony A7RV. Why so low on the list? Just the price? I know there are video issues with rolling shutter and 8k issues but I don't plan on shooting much video. Surprised you rated 7RIV higher than the RV? The RV has higher resolution, better AF, fully articulating screen, and 8 stop ibis image stabilization, not to mention in camera focus bracketing?
i love sony but i don't like the menu there is too much to do ... my fav camera always nikon ... i got nikon D850 and D4 soon i will up date to Z9II in 2025
Ive used nearly a hundred types of camera and by far the best is the hasselblad X2D for JPEG results and the M series for experience alongside glass that can last for 50 years to a hundred if well maintained. Built like a tank is the Nikon Z8 and Z7 while hybrid is the Sony A7R4. Canon is good but too technical and alot of my peers love it as a solid reliable camera but always say about how it lacks a soul. But to be honest the best is what you can obtain and the subsidary gear for your desired form of photography.
Interesting post, but the ranking does not make much sense. The Canon R5 Mk2 ranks #10 and the Canon R6 Mk2 ranks at #4 even though the R5 Mk2 is superior in every regard (and more costly as well). Where are the Nikon and Leica cameras?
Hi @Mr09260, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I understand your passion for the Z8-it’s a fantastic camera. The ranking was based on a mix of criteria like versatility, innovation, and value for different types of users. I value your feedback and will keep it in mind for future videos. If you'd like to discuss further, I’m open to hearing your perspective!
What about the Canon R1?
This is the right question .
