The reason honey blocks doesnt work is because its not a solid block it counts as a transparent block and since slime and honey are the only ones that can sticks, slime is ur only choice :)

I had difficulty (Bedrock Ed) in aligning the observers the correct way. Consequently, the device starts as predicted, but exerts one or perhaps two observer activations (when set afire with flint) to motivate the pistons, thereafter just sitting there. Guessing this doesnt work in Bedrock. Otherwise, it's pretty nifty stuff!

change the sticky piston @ the back to a normal one and it should work (can only go forward FYI)
