I didn't follow him on social media or anything so I didn't know he was deep into drugs and its sad that so many rappers are promoting this. I can relate to being depressed and self medicating to escape. I think his pain is what made his music so relatable. He took something negative and turned it into a positive. He may have been depressed but I truly don't think he was trying to end his own life I think he just got bad pills. I almost wish Peep could have been arrested or something to save his life before this end. Peeps death has actually woke me up and I'm now currently in the process of getting off of xans, I've been struggling to get away from that shit but this really got to me. I've have multiple situations where I ended up in the hospital after eating like 12 xans and separate od's on muscle relaxers, and I'm extremely lucky I didn't end up the way he did. Xanax are relatively risk free to take, if you're trying to quit them it can be more dangerous then actually taking them depending on how you do it. If you try and cold turkey it, you can die.

lil peep was one of the few people i looked up to and inspired me, and he will be for as long as possible. everything about him was amazing, his music, tattoos, clothes, everything... my parents didnt like him and his music because he was a "bad influence" so i wasnt allowed to buy any of his merchandise or go to any of his concerts. I think of gustav as our generation's kurt cobain. he couldve gone so far in life with his career. im sure his death was not caused on purpose but he will still be a huge part of the this generation.
