Helllloooooo!! I know you do. I know that for all those years the Weekly was a lot of fun. Thing is, it stopped being any fun at all to me. I don't want to film the girls every day (or even every week), I have't been able to see Esther properly for over a year because of covid, I don't feel good filming every detail of our home and lives. The internet is a changed place. It's very 'pull every detail apart and find fault', yanno? I felt like, the chapter closed. It was fun and I love the memories but you have to have healthy boundaries don't you? I will definitely do special weeks here and there but until then, I'm afraid not. Mental health, emotional wellbeing and decent childhoods come before all the rest and I know you're on board with that. I do chitchat every day on insta so maybe that'd be a good fix o' Louise for you?

Let’s talk about cardigans. As a 53 year old I have always worn cardigans (especially at work as I don’t control the heating). I honestly think they can make a little dress and just make me feel more secure. To know I am now in Louise fashion tips makes me so happy. Thank you 😂😍
I used to shy away from wearing some styles of dresses or tops because I don't like to show the tops if my arms, it took a friend to remind me that you can always wear a cardi to cover up if you're not feeling comfortable 🙂

They don't go out of fashion but the colour or the style definitely does. A few year ago the boleros cardigans were in fashion, now they definitely aren't.

My main motto that I like to pass on is: The size of the clothes label determines what size THE GARMENT IS, not you!! I’ve stopped saying “I’m a size xx” and instead saying “this (insert item here) is a size xx”. The measurement of the clothes is not a human body measurement, it’s a fabric measurement. X

Extra pounds, evenly distributed. I have spent my entire life hiding in dark, solid colors; basic jeans and sweaters in winter, jeans and boring tops in summer. I have bulging closets filled with separates that I am afraid to wear in public because I might not blend into the background. My seasonal purchases for this summer include floaty "resort wear", PATTERNS, and COLOR! You reminded me that it's ok to not blend into the air. Your video transcends age and fast fashion trends. A sense of humor is indicative of intelligence. You, Ms. Pentland, are brilliant!

Love your rules, I am a 70 year old grandma who stopped wearing black because it's supposed to be draining for older people but now I wear my tops with very colourful beads , I love watching your little family it cheers me up especially in lockdown.

something that gets me by when i’m feeling really self conscious about what i’m wearing or what i’m doing or how i’m being perceived by others is remembering that we’re all in the same boat and everyone is more concerned with what they are doing and how they are being perceived to even give your outfit or body a second thought. society has conditioned us to conform to these beauty and fashion standards and it’s heartbreaking to realise that it really effects people and changes how we view ourselves. beauty is entirely subjective and that stands for yourself, others, art, nature, clothes, jewellery... what one person sees as beautiful may not align with another persons tastes and that’s okay, that’s what makes this world so beautiful and unique! personally i loved all of these outfits and i’m so thankful that louise uses her platform in this way, it feels like such a safe place and like we’re on facetime wreaking havoc! if you’re reading this, you are magical and deserving of all things bright and beautiful, treat yourself kindly! (side note: louises hair looks like actual princess hair!!)

I love that your confident enough to go against the ‘on trend’ look. I myself have items of clothing that are 7 years old but I still pull them out and get compliments on them. I like to wear what makes me feel confident, happy and comfortable. I don’t want to wear things that I have to think “will this look nice to other people” ... I wear outfits for myself. One rule I recently got rid of for myself was that I have to wear padded pushup bras/bathing suits because I have quite a small chest. Screw that! I now love rocking cute bralettes, wireless bras, or even wearing no bra. No need to pretend I have boobs when that's not who I am!

Cardigans are forever. I love that straw hat ( very 1930s, Poirot etc). It would look lovely with a sundress or a Grecian looking dress...and it matches Pearl's little easter hat! Also perfect for a wedding with a blush pink dress.
This video isn’t normally something I’d enjoy, I had it on in the background initially while I was doing some craft things, and when it came to the part about just wearing the dresses and the outfits that we’re saving for the special occasions or because an item was too expensive for everyday wear, it made me think! Louise I can't tell you just how refreshing you are as a human. You're literally like a spring breeze personified. A lot of social media atm is all about having the best of everything, being on trend and following what's "in" and its so nice having someone to look up to who just doesn't care about those things. I'm 24 and often people my age dress a lot different to me and I feel a bit out of fashion and such but this truly made me feel better, cause honestly why do we let rules like these own our lives, I just Want to wear what I want and not have people kill my vibe with their rules!!! I love this, I struggle with clothes atm as I went from a size 6-8 to a size 12-14 and even though its not much of a difference it feels like it, I don't have the confidence to wear the things I used to but same as you I'm trying my best, such an inspirational and uplifting message 💕💕 lots of love 😘

I just went through my entire spring/summer wardrobe, trying everything on. And I tell you these close shrink over the winter. Right? But it did feel really good to get rid of anything I can't wear anymore. I then made a list of items I needed to replace and I went shopping online. Im a preschool teacher and I used to worry that my outfits were to fuddy duddy for a 24 year old because my peers have made comments or joked about me dressing like a teacher or a mom. But I remind myself I’m comfortable, I can do all the things I need to when I’m working and playing with the kids, and I feel cute! So I just enjoy my cardigans, Minnie Mouse blouses, and crazy socks and don’t worry about being a trendy 20 something anymore! One of mine is to not care about wearing kids size clothing! I’m a petite girl and find it hard sometimes to even fit in adult petite sizes. Plus kids clothing can be so much more my colour/style sometimes! ☺️

I had an absolute lightbulb moment last week. I have a really square face and have always thought that I would look AWFUL with a centre parting, but I went and did it AND IT IS SO MUCH MORE PRACTICAL! With a side parting, my hair was always flopping in front of my face, so I could never have it down, but now I feel so FREEEEEEEEEE! Lockdown has definitely taught me that I do not care about any kind of rules. Goodbye uncomfortable trousers! Goodbye high heels! I exclusively want to be comfortable! I am veiwing from a glorious Lush bath (the apple crumble bubbleroon, its new, and AMAZING) and my favourite thing about my appearance is my hair - I am a natural ginger and my favourite colour is navy so match made in heaven in my oh so humble opinion. I often make my way through my subscriptions while enjoying a bath and you're always so refreshing to watch - nothings staged or scripted, it's all so authentic and natural and you're just a breath of fresh air (or a breath of Lush air, whichever you prefer)
This video brought me so much joy. I just shared it with my friend group. We have vowed to pick an outfit a day for a week, with full on accessories. A little jump-start for 2021 😊 I have never believed in rules and wear whatever I want. I usually look like a walking rainbow with Pat Butcher sparkly earrings. It is a lewk! The last 18months kind of took this away from me, as like most who worked from home, it was joggers and dressing gowns every day (unless there was a blasted zoom call). It is a rut I want step away from. Due to body hang-ups I definitely veer away from certain garments. Much like yourself I am all here for body positivity until it comes to myself. I dress nice enough within the confines I have set myself and I often get lovely comments. I will always love a bloody cardie, she has been my friend for at least 20yrs and I will never give her up, whether it is en vogue or not. something that gets me by when i’m feeling really self conscious about what i’m wearing or what i’m doing or how i’m being perceived by others is remembering that we’re all in the same boat and everyone is more concerned with what they are doing and how they are being perceived to even give your outfit or body a second thought. society has conditioned us to conform to these beauty and fashion standards and it’s heartbreaking to realise that it really effects people and changes how we view ourselves. beauty is entirely subjective and that stands for yourself, others, art, nature, clothes, jewellery... what one person sees as beautiful may not align with another persons tastes and that’s okay, that’s what makes this world so beautiful and unique! personally i loved all of these outfits and i’m so thankful that louise uses her platform in this way, it feels like such a safe place and like we’re on facetime wreaking havoc! if you’re reading this, you are magical and deserving of all things bright and beautiful, treat yourself kindly! (side note: louises hair looks like actual princess hair!!)

One rule I recently got rid of for myself was that I have to wear padded pushup bras/bathing suits because I have quite a small chest. Screw that! I now love rocking cute bralettes, wireless bras, or even wearing no bra. No need to pretend I have boobs when that's not who I am!

I LOVED this! 2 people that have really inspired me in relation to clothing over the last few months have been Trinny (yes as in and Susanna) and Leena Norms, both on TH-cam. Trinny talks so much about colour but always dresses up and I LOVE it. Leena just puts together stuff she loves and I love her style where she just wears what makes her happy with no rules to follow. Cardigans are forever. I love that straw hat ( very 1930s, Poirot etc). It would look lovely with a sundress or a Grecian looking dress...and it matches Pearl's little easter hat! Also perfect for a wedding with a blush pink dress.

This video isn’t normally something I’d enjoy, I had it on in the background initially while I was doing some craft things, and when it came to the part about just wearing the dresses and the outfits that we’re saving for the special occasions or because an item was too expensive for everyday wear, it made me think! Louise I can't tell you just how refreshing you are as a human. You're literally like a spring breeze personified. A lot of social media atm is all about having the best of everything, being on trend and following what's "in" and its so nice having someone to look up to who just doesn't care about those things. I'm 24 and often people my age dress a lot different to me and I feel a bit out of fashion and such but this truly made me feel better, cause honestly why do we let rules like these own our lives, I just Want to wear what I want and not have people kill my vibe with their rules!!! I just went through my entire spring/summer wardrobe, trying everything on. And I tell you these close shrink over the winter. Right? But it did feel really good to get rid of anything I can't wear anymore. I then made a list of items I needed to replace and I went shopping online. I'm ready for the hot weather now!❤️

Im a preschool teacher and I used to worry that my outfits were to fuddy duddy for a 24 year old because my peers have made comments or joked about me dressing like a teacher or a mom. But I remind myself I’m comfortable, I can do all the things I need to when I’m working and playing with the kids, and I feel cute! So I just enjoy my cardigans, Minnie Mouse blouses, and crazy socks and don’t worry about being a trendy 20 something anymore! One of mine is to not care about wearing kids size clothing! I’m a petite girl and find it hard sometimes to even fit in adult petite sizes. Plus kids clothing can be so much more my colour/style sometimes! ☺️

Indeed no vat in the UK! Unfortunately most countries tax kids clothes. I do love the selection in the UK, I really was noticeable that there was more choice and for great prices.
I had an absolute lightbulb moment last week. I have a really square face and have always thought that I would look AWFUL with a centre parting, but I went and did it AND IT IS SO MUCH MORE PRACTICAL! With a side parting, my hair was always flopping in front of my face, so I could never have it down, but now I feel so FREEEEEEEEEE! Lockdown has definitely taught me that I do not care about any kind of rules. Goodbye uncomfortable trousers! Goodbye high heels! I exclusively want to be comfortable! (P.s. getting some.chub rub shorts. Was worried they would be too hot, so thank you for clearing that up!!)

I often make my way through my subscriptions while enjoying a bath and you're always so refreshing to watch - nothings staged or scripted, it's all so authentic and natural and you're just a breath of fresh air (or a breath of Lush air, whichever you prefer)

I have never believed in rules and wear whatever I want. I usually look like a walking rainbow with Pat Butcher sparkly earrings. It is a lewk! The last 18months kind of took this away from me, as like most who worked from home, it was joggers and dressing gowns every day (unless there was a blasted zoom call). It is a rut I want step away from.
Due to body hang-ups I definitely veer away from certain garments. Much like yourself I am all here for body positivity until it comes to myself. I dress nice enough within the confines I have set myself and I often get lovely comments.
I will always love a bloody cardie, she has been my friend for at least 20yrs and I will never give her up, whether it is en vogue or not.
