An offset slider-crank chain mechanism, as shown in below figure, the crank is driven by the slider B at a speed of 15 m/s towards the left at given instant. Find the velocity of the offset point D on the coupler AB and the angular velocities of links OA and AB.
B is at intersection. So it can be treated on AB(Connecting Rod) as well as Slider. So in First logic, I am treating it as on AB and In second logic, I am treating it on Slider E. Both logic gives you correct results, depend on your reference
Understood. If we stand at the point *A* and see the motion of the point *B* while the point *A* is also moving, the point *B* would seem to be circulating.
Dhanyavad sir ji .. par vo 3.5 nhi 2.5 h uski vja se thodi confusion hui .. baki it's really helpful
This video is very useful for me thank you sir
Nice Initiative. Good Luck

Sir please give me solutions of this ques
nice video, but Sir W(ab) , you start counting from 1cm , means that V(ab) = 2.5 . using this value you will get W(ab)=7.06rad/s
Yrr a ke respect mai b. Slide nhi krega kya
😌maja aya
Jb 2 or 3 slider lge ho tb kaise velocity digram bna kr solve kenge plz sir ek video daal di jiye
The point *B* is a sliding point, and not a rotating point. How is motion of *B* wrt *A* circular?
B is at intersection. So it can be treated on AB(Connecting Rod) as well as Slider.
So in First logic, I am treating it as on AB
and In second logic, I am treating it on Slider E.
Both logic gives you correct results, depend on your reference

@@yummycupcakeee Yes, we are calculating relative velocity
@@ashutoshpratapsingh3554 Thank you for the video and clarifying the confusion.
In Vao=RΩ
R- taken as 0.15
What does r stand for?
Sir muze majaa aa raha thaa padhte padhte 😅
Majaaa Aana Chahiye
slider makes forward and backword motion not circular
@@haseebsafdar6712 you can understand it as circular motion with infinite radius
Plz hindi hi bol kar padhayiye🙏👍
Sir video is nice but value of ang. Velocity is coming 9.8875 rad/s in part (ii)
👍👍
r ka maan 0.15
Kha se aya
Many mistakes in the solution please correct it
