At those prices, it's definitely a rip off . Around my parts it's only a 10-20% markup (when you can find it) so not as bad. You do go from 40% to 46% abv so all those flavors you like about Green Spot just get that much better, and you get the the influence of the finishing barrel. Definitely an improvement over the regular Green Spot, but like all whiskey you have to find it at the right price for you.
Do you think the alternate versions of greenspots add "value" to the standard greenspot? If so , is it worth the price ?
