The ball is made of clear glass. A long time ago, before the President Bush Wars, I went to Israel and acquired a few olive wood rosaries. I think I got three or five. I had a religious experience in a Coptic church. I like the rituals of the old church. I converted Catholic after that trip.
When I lived in downtown Seattle, I could walk or take a bus to any church or spiritual gathering I fancied. I settled on the Cathedral parish and a Black Catholic parish. I sang in Black Catholic gospel choir for six or seven years and once a year I sang in the Cathedral (open to the community) choir. I don't read music so I couldn't join that choir.
But here in this rural community there is not much church choice nor pipe organs and fancy choirs. The nearest Orthodox Church is 140 kilometers Away and the nearest Catholic parish that plays a pipe organ on a weekly basis is about the same distance. And for over a decade, my days off were Tuesday and Wednesday.
Now as my mother's caregiver, we go to her church, which is Lutheran. That is the community I was baptized in when I was a kid. But after dad passed away (in 2012) religion became less important and relationships became more.

I do not go to church, but I pray a lot. The video gives us special memories, I wish you the best in everything you do.
