Hey guys and welcome to my channel!
I went to Van Cleef and Arpels to check out Alhambra earrings. I saw so many eye candies 😍 so many beautiful earrings and bracelets. VCA is becoming my most favourite brand now. I just want everything from this brand. I bought something and I will inbox it for you in the video.
I also went to Cartier to check out the love bracelet in small size and the rings in standard and small sizes. I saw so many beautiful items. I love the way the small bracelet looks in both, white and yellow gold. It goes so well with my bracelet in the standard size. So let’s just say a few more items have been added to my list after this visit 😅

I have the thin yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet and I love it. I recently added the regular size 4 diamond yellow gold bracelet but it kept coming unscrewed and fell off several times. I had it repaired at the Cartier store in NYC and when I went to pick it up they surprised me and gave me a new bracelet as they said there was something wrong with the screws but didn't elaborate further. I've fallen out of love with it though(sorry for the pun) with all of the hassle and it's just not comfortable compared to my thinner one, plus I like how easy the small one is to take off. I really like your Juste un clou and have been thinking about getting it maybe in the thinner size.
drdorann oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. I am glad that they replaced it. I know exactly what you mean. Luckily I didn’t have any issues with mine, otherwise I would not want to wear it too..

I shopped VCA domestic and internationally and Cartier in states and to me between the two, I felt the VCA craftsmanship is wroth more of its costs, because the peices are mostly hand crafted, yes some pre machine stamps for the stones but they are put together manually. Each stone is unique. Even the same color. If you see many of the same stone, they actually very unique. Vs the love bracelet it seems mostly machine made . In terms of popularity and market, I do feel the love bracelet has the win. Again, when you pay around $7k for a bracelet and gold worth is less than $2k worth, that's like $5k markup because of a brand. So Cartier to me has great marketing.
However, durability as you said is Cartier as well. I prefer my wife wear what is brought more and not be 'afraid' to wear like the VCA peices. Like these you won't wear with young kids, gym etc.
Personally, for me, I think I still prefer VCA. But I see the pro in Cartier as well. So I guess at least one of each right? haha. Pick9ng between one, I know my wife would say, it's like picking one favorite of our the two kids. Buy what you enjoy I would say.
I agree about the designs and durability. I also prefer VCA’s designs, but I have to be a lot more careful with VCA’s items than with Cartier’s.

I too was thinking about purchasing the thinner love bracelet from Cartier as my wrists are quite small and I tend to like daintier jewellery (I would take a size 16 also) and then later on look to purchase the thinner love ring :) Beautiful purchase xx

Beautiful VCA earrings and bracelet. Love your collection! I want to ask your advise regarding the sizing of the love bracelet. My wrist is size 16cm. The size 17 love bracelet looks amazing and moves just a little. Size 18 looks more like a bangle and moves up and down my arm alot more. Out of the two I like the look of 17 better but I am worried about comfort since there isn't much wiggle room. I wish I they made 17.5 as that would be ideal. The SA recommends size 17 over size 18. She says size 18 is moving a lot more which in her option may actually cause more friction and she is concerned that it will annoy me after all day wear. She says it will be more prone to scratches and miss alignment over time. I know you sized up with your love bracelet do to comfort concerns. Now that you had your love bracelet for a while would you still get it in your current size or do you wish you got yours more fitted? Also, are you comfortable sleeping with yours? Was there an adjustment period? Any advise would be welcomed
Izabella I think my size is 15, but I bought 16, because it was more comfortable. I am quite happy I did that. I barely feel it.
I was also told about the scratches, but I didn’t have problems with it. The screw only moved during first month a big and now it’s doesn’t move at all. I stack it with my juste un clou and VCA bracelets. It’s totally fine. You have to chose what feel more comfortable for you. My SA insisted that I buy the size 15 too, but it would be uncomfortable. I think I would have more scratches on it too. At list the size 16 can be moved higher when I need. I think if I eventually buy another love bracelet in white gold, to create a stack in white gold, I will go for the same size (16).

Izabella I have never taken off my love bracelet. I always wear it. Not so much, I posted the photo of the stack on my insta account and they don’t really overlap that much. Unless I move my hand down very fast. In that case VCA bracelet will overlap, because it’s a little bit too big for me.
You need to try to stack love and juc together in the store and see how you feel. It is ok for me, but you may not find it comfortable.

@@BlackandGoldStyle No no, do not get me wrong. I do not mean any disrespect from this comment and I appreciated this and other videos. But by that I mean that people use these brands as a benchmark of wealth and they are so in the spotlight that everyone just considers them worth it and loves them, as it seems to be the thing to do.
I do appreciate them for their creative direction but only to a certain degree. I would really appreciate seeing more of the lesser known Jewelry brands, or the ones with more of a story such as Bvlgari, and as you are in Singapore (I used to live there) there are some really really good Artisan Jewelry brands which you should take a look at there!

ShizWoz thanks for explaining. I understand what you mean. I like non designer brands too and I have a few items in white gold with diamonds. Most of them are in the shape of flowers. They are gorgeous and I still wear them very often. I worn them in some of my videos about Chanel bags too.
I guess I am into yellow gold now and VCA and Cartier make the cutest pieces. I am just sharing what I love 🥰 and not because others like them.
