- Union Minister and Republican Party of India (Athwale group) leader Ramdas Athawale criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Rajya Sabha and said that "Congress ne sara desh loota hai...". Earlier, Athawale also alleged that Rahul Gandhi is working to divide Hindus. Athawale claimed that "BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi believe in democracy and people have faith in them. So there is no truth in Rahul Gandhi's statement. They are working to divide the society, they campaigned in the Lok Sabha elections on the basis of the constitution".
