You have inspired me to do better. I am still trying to beat Phrike after 18 hours of play. Only faced him 4 times so far, but man, you made it look easy. In my poor defence, I am 55 and my reflexes are not what they once were. Amazing game, and amazing run to where I stopped watching when you kicked Phrike's butt with a level 0 spitmaw, my most hated weapon.
It took me 18 hours to get past the first biome (I'm 43). But then it got easier... Until the fourth, fifth, and sixth biomes. I'm about 34 hours in now, and have attempted the sixth biome three times. Edit: I'm actually 47 hours in now. Got further today. I will beat it.
Huge knowledge of the game ... no waste of time with unnecessary fighting ... extraordinary shooting skills with bosses! This video is equivalent to making the Rubik's Cube in 10 seconds!!!! Awesome
Tbf, the final boss is one of the easiest. If you made it through the other bioms a no hit kill is quite easy. That biome 5 challenge room is quite impressive though, beautiful execution.

Great run. My PR right now is 1hr 18mins. Fresh start deathless, no revive items/gear. With this you may have helped me figure out out to get it down to 60 mins. It will def take a few runs as the RNG of the 2nd half of the game can be brutal lol. Cheers mate
Nice! being able to complete a new game run deathless is a challenge in itself yet alone trying to go fast. Many of my attempts end due to deaths in the 1st half of the run lol. I've lost may runs to biome 5 which imo is the hardest due to its volitility. I definitely agree with you. 2nd half is when the real run begins haha.

If you run through biome 4 you can get enough obolites to buy two integ upgrades and an astronaut and then just run through 6 and skip biome 5 entirely and get a good weapon in 6 (since those kamikaze squid nest always drop weapons) -- I found that hollow seeker with portal beam/turret or electrylon driver with pylon web are OP in biome 6 - good luck my man
@@CHIIIEEEEEEEEFFFFSSS yeah it’s super OP especially good for the ice severed but I do love portal turret for the better DPS especially with serrated projectiles
I was thinking about that, but it takes time to build up to adrenaline 5 and you lose all perks just by getting hit once. I think it's only worth getting the 1st level of adrenaline which is the overload perk for higher dps due to faster reloads.
@@delerickdel8833 a bit late to the discussion, but some defective robots and those tentacle rockets in the last biome are one-shots, maybe you could kill them while running to build this up

Have you ever tried Enter the Gungeon? Some boss fights are not available till later in the game, like the rat and the hell boss fights. If you did like all bosses in enter the gungeon (cant be done on ng) the rat, the punch out mini game AND the possessed (what's the term?) dragon and hell, that'd be amazing.

nice congrats! I don't have the platinum for this game so you got that over me ;) It's pretty much dashing+melee+jumping mostly at the same time. I rebind my dash to L1 and melee to R1 since it's so much easier to execute it with that set up.
I thought the game was procedurally generated? My first run had the exact same rooms, layout, order as this and many other walkthroughs I've seen on TH-cam
Can you tell me how can I do that very fast and long jump at 32:28 ? It seems you press the jump , melee and sudden movement buttons together or something

How are you able to jump so far and so fast? Im only in biome 2 myself, but youre jumping and dashing way further than I seem to be able to on any of my runs.
With Ixion , how could you not get injured when you dodged the blue beam ring and hit the orange balls?! It seems you got some balls smashed on you but no harm.
when/after dodging there are a couple of invincibility frames, it could be that. there is also an artefact that boosts the duration of the invincibility, but I dont think he had it
@@OM12345678 I was definitely the opposite. When I got to Biome 3 I was OP because of insanely good run and rng. But Biome 5 and 6 were where I had the most deaths. Every pickup, chest, etc was malignant, and I just had a shit time, especially in 6.
How do you Super dash jump like that? I tried simply just jumping at the end of the dash, but that doesn’t work. I even tried holding the dash button while jumping.
Thanks. I just posted a 75 min run, without the DMJ.. seems I need to remap the dash and melee buttons.. it will take some getting used to but man it looks awesome and will save a lot of time lol

5:50 how was he able to shoot when he fucked up the reload by shooting too much? Was he using the keyboard console commands? If so, shouldn't that invalidate a speedrun?

You get a lot of increased damage from getting adrenaline 5. Kind of feels like it would have been worth to clear out one early room to keep it up

can you travel biome to biome?
yeah after you beat a biome, you gain access to a shortcut to the next one.
