He says 'with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee' AFTER our self-imposed periods of withdrawal and 'a little wrath.' 2. The symbolic woman Israel is desolate, barren BUT the Lord hasn't forgotten her. Her tent must be enlarged to house all who are coming to her! 'Strengthen thy stakes' Thank you, thank you for these!!!
