This is not only the best collection to get the great remakes of the NES Mario games ( except Lost Level ) & added World into it, but this one of the best Mario games I've ever played & one of my favorite games of all time. This was such an impressive cartridge for the SNES; as well as Mario games in general.

I’m sorry, not to shit on the 8 bit Mario classics and standalone Mario world, but all stars is the far superior to the originals, updated graphics, better Luigi sprites (especially in Super Mario World, even though that was the only difference) greater music and has a save feature! no starting at world 1-1 in SMB, unlimited lives in SMBLL. All of these games are the definitive versions of the classics and no other versions can beat them, even Mario Advance 4: SMB3!
The save feature is a huge improvement, especially for Super Mario Bros 3. The NES version of SMB3 has no save feature at all, which bothers me because it's a pretty long game. Mario All Stars fixes my gripe with that. I agree, the Super Mario All Stars versions of the classic Super Mario Bros games are the definitive versions of them.

Coolio, me & my bro used to play this game many to many times back in the day. Most of the time we played S.M.W. with him as Mario & me as Luigi but he also manage to BEST Bowser & his cronies in the other games as well thanks to years of experience gained by playing S.M.B'S. & S.M.B'S.3 on the Nintendo NES my dad came across during my bro's early childhood. The experience we acquired for beating S.M.W. was from both a copy one of dad's friends had & from a copy our cousin had down in South Florida whenever we visited.
To see something freaky, play this games Mario world game as Luigi and give him the flower power-up, or cape. Also as he's taller than Mario is, when Toadstool kisses him to thank him for saving her, if you can keep Luigi big till then, you actually get to see the lip kiss. Also this game makes you actually kill 4 of the Koopalings by the way. (Wendy, Larry, Iggy, and Lemmy) as to defeat them you must push two of them into lava, and the other two you jump on three times each and then they fall into lava below them, so somewhat dark but still an awesome game!!

Add some more Dragon coins so that all levels have 5 of them, Have the Starman theme of SMW replaced with the Super Mario All Stars Starman theme for consistency, and fix some of the bugs from the original SMW. If all these changes I listed made into the All Stars version of Super Mario World, it'll made the All Stars version of SMW stand out and be more interesting version to check out, even by people who already own a standalone SMW cartridge. As it is though, it's cool they made a Super Mario All Stars compilation that included Super Mario World.

Didn't really like how they remade the music but at least it was better than that for Ninja Gaiden Trilogy. Without those awful voices found on Super Mario Advanced games.
Super Mario Bros 2 was judged too hard for us market so they released another game Oki Doki Panic but with mario charecthers instead of originals. So the "real super mario bros 2 was the lost levels.
Pretty impressive they're able to fit all the classic Super Mario Bros games in one cartridge since Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3 are pretty long.

Pretty impressive they're able to fit all the classic Super Mario Bros games in one cartridge since Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3 are pretty long.
David Herrera I noticed the Luigi model is different in the all stars version of super mario world than just being a green mario in the original
@@jhoff1804 Yep, that seemed to be one of the only changes in the All Stars version of Super Mario World.
@@retrofan4963 by the time this version came out in 1994-95 the ROM chips would have become cheaper so they could afford to make a higher capacity cartridge.
