  • So glad I finally picked one of these up! I was using old pots and pans before and man does this make a difference. Packs so much smaller but gives you large cooking abilities.

Saw a review with this set vs a competitor (Stanley Even-Heat Pro). The GSI was thinner and made a popping sound when initially heating something up. Concerned about warpage with my Everest X Camp Chef stove with 20k BTU burners. Have you experienced this popping or had any issues?

No I haven’t had any issues with warping or popping with this cookset. But I do also have the “GSI Bugaboo Griddle” and unfortunately it has warped and doesn’t sit perfectly flat on the burners anymore. It’s not a huge concern it mostly just bugs my OCD a bit. Haha

@@coleeades it was a 2 yr old review, so GSI could have made improvements. The price point on the Stanley set is a bit higher than the GSI too, so its not necessarily a fair comparison.
      Appreciate the quick response 👊

@@CraigG21 I think I know which video you are talking about because I watched it before purchasing mine. I just went out and checked mine and it seems to be the same as the video you mentioned. If I force it with my hand I can get the pots to pop in and out on the bottom. But I don’t notice an issue while I’m cooking.
