i know blokes in the system at CA, they said he just goes a fraction too hard. he obviously is an absolute jet, but would love to see him in a 5 day game. with similar but not the same intent
That was impressive. Eleven balls to go from 50 to 100 is unbelievable. He slowed down at the end when he took another 9 balls to get his last 25 runs LOL.
Yeah it's impressive... But do u watched Nepals innings in Asian games 2023?? They scored 300+ in 20 overs and one of them scored 50 in just 9 balls....
His wrist movements are out of this world. I was there at his debut in Sydney and even though his innings was short lived you can see something special in him. I hope this kid gets picked in all Australian ODI squads moving forward
We need to start giving these young guns a start for Australia already. Our current squad are mostly 30+ fat cats past their prime. Or are we still gonna trot out the likes of Stoinis and Maxwell in another four years' time?
@@AJWRAJWR patience is a virtue and AND you gotta earn ya spot can't just throw the lad in the Deep End - besides the size of that oval even I been retired for 20 yrs fancy me chances hitting a few over the Fence 😜
@CJArnold-hq3ey Yeah, we'll just have to see what happens by the time the next World Cup after this arrives. Most of the current squad will have to be replaced by then just because of age. The sooner we blood the next batch, the better. Like, as soon as this current World Cup is over.
Would love to see JAKE FRASER MCGURK in the ICC Mens T20 WC Australian Squad, he is phenomenal. The top order is filled with quality specialist batsman, but i would like to see him in the reserves.
@@saktisekhardash9302, I didn't notice that you specified 2027. I still think that people are getting a bit too excited about one innings, great as it was, without taking into account anything else that he ever has or hasn't done.
@@MickH60, if you know that you only have to hit the ball 55m, you'll feel more comfortable trying to clear the boundary and so possibly hit it 70m. If you know that you have to hit it 70m, you'll be less confident and thus may not even try to clear the boundary or maybe not hit it as cleanly and not achieve the same distance. You can only play what's in front of you and it was a great innings in the situation but things are not always as simple as they seem but far too many people don't really want to think about anything but the obvious.
If he's only 21 now, I'm super excited to see what he can do in the future. Fingers crossed he ends up playing for Australia!
He's playing for South Australia. If he was from NSW he would've been in the Australian side by now

That was incredible, to score a century in just under 5 overs was amazing.
I envy the spectators who witnessed this amazing piece of batting.
I feel sad for the bowler who dropped him at 63. Guy must have been gutted
As a viewer, this innings was a pleasure to watch, thanks.
2:24 LOL that bowling action has me in stitches man 😭I can't stop laughing
🤣🤣
Why? Looks alright.
way better than shivil kaushik
I bet he gets confused about which is his bowling arm everytime he bowls.
He clocks a whole day before delivering.
100 of 29 balls that’s unbelievable.
Unbelievable but that's not international match also the boundary is 55 metre too

35 runs off his last 7 balls on his way to 100 is insane!!
34 off 6 balls

If anyone injured in world cup I think Australia should pick this talented man he is very talented player
he will play in t20 world cup for sure

He is a big threat for landia in future😂😂😂😂
And this is the kind of batting we need more of if we want to see triple centuries in One Day games and ODIs. It’s definitely possible
Give him the spot of Warner in T20
Man oh man, he hits clean! ❤
The worst thing is that SA lost in the end by 37 runs😢😢😢

How much did they score?
398 all out, still had 20 balls to spare

He hits the ball like he’s playing golf. So clean. Quick wrists and hips through the shot.
