In this tutorial, I'm gonna teach you how to make a minecraft xp farm bedrock edition and how to get xp the best in minecraft 1.20 bedrock. This video shows 3 easy methods to obtain experience levels and to get to level 30 as quick as possible, using those xp farms. There's a zero tick kelp xp farm, an AFK fish exp farm and an insane new minecraft bedrock quad gold experience farm for 1.20.
Additionally, another advantage of these 3 op, insane, simple, easy and cheap xp farm minecraft bedrock methods is, that they will always work on minecraft bedrock realms and bedrock edition of minecraft servers and mcpe.

the pigman farm works amazingly, if your portal doesent light up, either your fire spread setting isn’t on, or u didn’t make it perfectly 23 blocks tall, or maybe the powdered snow is in the frame. And don’t worry, the trident won’t loose any durability. it works amazingly, tysm.
Top comment for sure. My snow block was out. When you turn off the switch, it isn't always in the returned position.

For the kelp xp farm chunk line correctly. And for the fish farm use a iron trapdoor for better experience and place a fish (live using a bucket) and it will increase the loot by a lot (I mean a lot)😊
What do you mean by chunk line?
That fish thing does not work on bedrock edition.
@@by_Jamest does, I use a different but very easy fish farm fully afkable and gives exp,fish and treasure loot. You just need an auto clicker and set it to 800ms or 1 sec. If uou want I cant send you a video and you cant learn it and record it for everyone

@@Broplzstopmakingmusiccplzkelp farm isn't an exp but a fuel farm , it gives very low amounts of exp , I made one that has 40 frences on it and almost every farm is better than it
I have the mob grinder it’s so bad I wasted a stack of iron on pickaxes to get cobblestone you need 21 stacks of blocks for that farm
@@mood-mh8biit can be any full block as long as mobs can spawn on it (wood planks)

When you mention the pistons should face towards the sand at around 2:00 , do you mean the sand under the pistons in the farm or does this xo farm have to be located near sanded area/desert biome?

Nope it works well and I’m using it under ground
If sand keeps falling and kelp isn’t working then check if you’re on a chunk line, if you don’t know what that is then search it real quick… after that search chunkbase click it and put in your cords and your version and done!

How do you keep the machine from destroying the kelp. I built it as instructed but when I turn the machine off the kelp is in the smoker but not in the sand anymore? TIA!

Fantastic work James, thanks so much. I did a slight tweak to mine to get it to work better. Instead of having the hoppers run straight into the smokers, I have them run into barrels, then hoppers, then to the smokers

Hello, I have a problem with pigman farm 7:52. Whenever I start the pistons with the lever, the Redstone torches fall off the pistons... Do I have to make an adjustment on the server so that they stay on?

My kelp farm was working very well and a creeper blew my sand out and after replacing the sand it doesn’t glitch the kelp:(
The Kelp farm does indeed properly work as I've tested but has to be built exactly on what James here has said, so if the farm isn't working then something on your build might be incorrect or you may need to move the farm as it could be crossing a chunk line which stops the machine from glitching the kelp properly
How can you tell if it crosses a chunk line without having a checker, can you use a website or a seed map or something? Or just keep moving it block by block
does it give a lot of xp?
honestly it is about if you can get lucky with it, I also learned that the farm is able to function even if you cross a chunk line if you stay near the machine @@proctor8059
Depends on how many levels you already have but all I can say is it's not the most consistent with exp I'd say you get 2-7 levels every 20 mins or so @@Da77__
The clock don work for me it all just lights up.
For the kelp xp farm does it have to be Sticky pistons at the bottom or can it just be normal pistons as well
So when I made the kelp farm the kelp doesn’t produce how do I fix this?
does it matter the orientation of the portal, whether is north/south facing or east/west?
Is it really necessary to build the part of the piglin farm in the north-west corner cause i didn't and it works just fine

For the piglin farm, the xp always gets stuck at the back, is there something I am missing so i don't have to run around the back to get the xp? I cant stand in the corner or it will pick up the trident.
What I did was I built a thing underneath (there is also an automatic item sorter down there) and I filled my inventory with whatever so the trident doesn’t get picked up. I just afk down there
may i ask why the kelp farm will work fine for about 45 mins and then the sand breaks? i made sure i’m inside a chunk with a chunk texture pack and i’m not crossing over any lines… for the 45 mins it works it’s great but having to replace the sand all the time is gonna be pretty inefficient. some help would be much appreciated!

@@agg1179 the sand where the kelp grows gets destroyed after running for a few minutes therefore the farm stops producing kelp

Does the piglan one work on Playstation? I only ask because i made a creeper farm that was said to work on bedrock but people said it only works on PC bedrock

Yes. Mine is 8 kelp wide. As long as you stay inside a single chunk's borders, it should work fine.
Dose it have to be in a chuck for the first 1xp farm

Alright, the kelp farm only work if you wait a long time, after collecting the xp you will need wait a another longtime, it doesn’t work like the old one where you could just stay in front and collect each cook kelp and gain big xp amounts at each kelp
How longs a long time and how much xp?

could you double the spawns by adding 2 nether portals
sticky piston does not move forward when connected with redstone. as if it were turned off
if you are playing on another persons world will any of the farms still work?
Can you still use the pitman farm even if you weren’t the one who threw the trident?

Water bucket works on bedrock. I don't know about Java.
Question: Can I download the chunk texture pack either via phone/xbox to effectively create the kelp farm or can I just go to a website and put in my world seed then look at the chunk borders they’re?
You can on your phone I belive but not Xbox

@proctor8059 each chunk is 16x16 blocks so if you have coords turned on just divide your location by 16 to find your chunk borders on console/phone

Guys the kelp farm bug or whatever you wanna call it is fixed/removed like now you won't get that insane amount of XP anymore just by getting 1 item in your inventory
So I don’t really resort to asking for help, but I already made this, it worked for a couple of hours, now it doesn’t want to work anymore, I destroyed and rebuilt the whole thing to help fix any bug or glitch, and it still doesn’t work, I rebuilt it in the same chunk I originally did
the kelp one was working for me for a couple of days, now the origin kelp break whenever activated, any thoughts why that is?
Maybe the water blocks aren’t source blocks?
I replaced those with no change

Ik this is kinda late, but I built the first xp farm, and it worked but it would only cook 3 kelp, then I had to refill the farm again, idk what I did wrong, I followed step by step

Im trying to build this is in my minehut server with my friend but when at 7:53 i flick the lever the redstone torch breaks off. Any tips on how to fix it? it is really frustrating and I cant find any answers on google.

The piglin farm works amazing, but I suggest for anyone reading this to add a hopper system beneath it. Collecting the loot will give you so much gold and rotten flesh, I think I got a stack of gold blocks from just afking for an hour. Also, make sure to empty out the chests of swords every once a while. They fill up fast

it worked great for me when i used it first but then i went to try it again another day and it wasnt working. the portal was lit when the switch was off and the observer kept sticking to the piston when it was off. i kinda reset it and it all looks normal now but no pigmen are coming through. idk how to fix it. i tried reloading the world and leaving the chunk if that has anything to do with it.
i just tried running it again and when i turned it off the portal stayed lit. this is how it was when i first tried fixing it T-T
its the next day now and i tried resetting it again and now it is working. idk if it was the server or something but glad it works now :)

My kelp xp farm isn’t giving much xp and I’ve been waiting a decent amount of time anyone know why? Built exactly like he did and it’s version 1.20.5 just in case
The higher level of xp you have, the less dramatic increase you'll see when collecting the stacks of dried kelp - is my guess.
I extended the length of the machine to be eight kelp/smokers. I usually see around 3-4 levels when I empty the eight stacks.
I have a problem,most of the piglins are spawning from the back of the portal and fall down instead of spawning at the front side did i place the portal from the wrong side???
He doesn't mention it in this video, but you need to break and relight the portal manually until a piglin spawns. That way you can see what side they will come from 99 percent of the time. You'll get a stray on the opposite side on occasion but it's relatively rare. I personally prefer the version of this farm that's built on the ground. By 1upMc, however James' item sorter/sword deleter is absolutely necessary and makes this type of farm truly great!
For information the 1st farm do not gives much xp and it also doesn't give xp on every kelp you take.
With the first xp farm how do you do 2 levels at a time? It gives me a lot less XP

So I built the kelp farm and it worked for a day or two. But now I turned it on and it just breaks the kelp. Help!!
If it randomly stopped generating kelp, check that the sand didn’t fall bellow in front of the pistons
didnt work, idk why i did everything correctly as he did and also built it all within 1 chunk, it seems to work but no new kelp appears, it just creates sand breaking particles :/

I used a Lectern instead of the Note Box for the fishing farm. Sometimes I want to fish and I did not want all that noise

My kelp farm is producing virtually no kelp. I waited 2 minecraft days (while keeping the chunk loaded) and got 26 kelp.
It is a zero tick farm if you use it correctly it will glitch kelp into existence. You’re just using it wrong bc I use it all the time

followed the piglin farm step by step, perfect height, facing the correct way, but it’s not spawning piglins. Is there anything I need to do in the nether? you weren’t clear on that
That's because the nether side does not matter at all. Check that your difficulty is hard and your portals are alternating between on and off.

My kelp farm was working perfectly, but random one day all the same where the kelp grew broke and now it doesn’t produce nearly as much kelp after fixing it. Does anybody know what happened?
Sometimes if you leave the chunk or if you leave the machine on and leave the world, it’ll break. You should be able to just replace the sand and start again

If anything, couldn’t you just use any cookable item in the smokers in the first part, potatoes for example, and still get the same results?

The only way to show chunk borders is to turn on your coordinates in the settings, and if the X or Z are divisible by 16 (chunkX / 16 = (whole number (not decimal))) you are a chunk border. Failing that use on online chunk finder by entering in your seed, it will give you the chunk layout. :)

Need help with one of your previous gold farms you built. The one I’m talking about specifically is the 4 portal one. It was working then it randomly stopped and now the lava won’t light the portals on fire. Any suggestions?
Fire spreads should be on.

@@by_James haha I finally realized that lmao. I turned it off to do some fishing in a thunderstorm and didn’t want things catching on fire so I turned fire spread off and totally forgot it affected the nether portals 🤣🤣

how do you afk the kelp one. bc once it gets to 64 i only get a little bc it caps at 64 on each smoke once you take it out.
Increase the number of smokers and hoppers.
Not working on Ps4 but I noticed the chest dupe method worked and then didn't work and then I lost all my stuff and had to revert to backup copy. I was doing this offline when it started failing to work but not sure if that's the issue. Also when it did work I didn't drown, just chest duped by closing app since it's not possible now to save game if you have a chest open like in the video. It's really touch and go and only works with 1 chest not a double chest if it works at all. It's like there's an AI watching even offline.
PLEASE PIN THIS SO PEAPLE CAN SEE in my opinion the best xp farm is villagers. Once you’ve zombified and revived around ten villagers you can easily trade for stacks and stacks of emeralds using things like book shelves and books to trade infinitely. You can make so much xp just by trading with villagers it’s insane. It also doesn’t take an insanely long time to setup a villager trading hall, plus you can get op books and enchants from them

Tips, for new world, get a fletcher first, and reset his job until u get weakness arrow tip. So u dont need to go nether yet. Install the resource to see the possible trade. This will make u progress faster.
You can use this weakness arrow to heal zombified villager. Another tips is, try to setup villager trader hall with iron golem farm together so u ll make better profit of it

Do you actually need the trident killer or do other killing methods work?
other methods will kill the piglins, but you need some way for it to be credited toward you if you want xp. Trident killers are automatic, but you should reasonably be able to just swipe at them with your sword if you want to.
or dogs, if you have a disposable income of them, i suppose.

Switch player here zombie piglin farm works like a charm was gonna go for the qaud but didn't have enough matierals but this works for such little materials was a bit of a nightmare to build in survival since I can't fly about but hey thanks for looking out for the bedrock community James

@@brexy_2482 the video has it so the portal is the maximum size allowed. If your portal is one block too tall it won’t work, so it is possible that is what’s happening for you. I would double check your portal is 23 blocks tall

@@Naronix the farm works perfectly fine for me. As long as you did every thing the same (including the northwest corner stuff) it should work perfectly fine.

Couple of things could be happening.
1-make sure fire spreads setting is on
2-make sure the powder snow is not out and sitting in the portal frame. Snow dispenser switch should be off and snow inside dispenser.

Yes
you guys can also make the piglin farm on the ground and it saves you a LOT of blocks, it works the same way except you dig down and make an area for the piglins to fall down, i recommend building up 3 blocks so you don’t have to dig super deep and fall into a cave
For The kelp xp farm The experience is no longer held by the smokers. it was patched. You saw him gain 6 levels by grabbing like what a couple kelp from each smoker ? Now you have to grab a couple stacks of 64 just to get from level 0-1
levels require more xp every level

I remember when it would store xp. Would grab 2 and get a full level at 50

The kelp farm doesnt work anymore on a world where i had thousands of level built up it only gives 2 lvls when it used to do 100 a furnace. Even ran it after and it still doesnt work
Yea they capped it foe the 1.20 update so it isn’t like that anymore

Does it matter where your portal is in the nether?
I'm using bedrock on mobile. The piston in the kelp farm is blocking the water source when it's turned on, therefore stops the kelp from growing two blocks high. I need to turn on and off the lever to let the kelp grow. It's not as efficient as the video shows.
