There's a concept in behavioral science we call reverse psychology. In fact it's a compromise between obedience and curiosity. His last will and testament explicitly requested to burn the photos, but the heir chose to disobey in order to satisfy his curiosity. He eventually paid the price (and that's the essence of this horror movie).
People never do what they are told to do in these films😂 loved it! Edit:ok so evidently I don’t have a life cause I’ve watched this numerous times and I think what happened is he had pieced together what his grandpa was trying to hide and get rid of.. to keep him quiet about what he had discovered , his grandpa came back and made him apart of the pics forever. Idk but that’s my take on it.. I just wish it were longer.
I feel like you could be forgiven for looking through a box of your recently passed grandfather's photos you were told to burn... But taking the time to DEVELOP a roll of film you were explicitly told not to look at? Bro.
Loved it! The entire atmosphere had me on edge. I have been obsessed with short films for years now and having seen hundreds, if not thousands, I am excited for your future projects. Again, just absolutely loved it!

I too assumed that they portrayed criminal activity and that his grandfather would haunt him if he did not burn them. Thus, I was surprised when they initially looked benign. That said, what if he would have been haunted by the evil spirit anyway?
I guess the storm caused the electricity to go out so he looked at the pictures in the dark with a flashlight? But no, it could not have been because towards the end, he did turn on the lamp to take a closer look at the film strip, lol. Curiosity got the better of him, how is that saying, Curiosity killed the Cat? He had the letter warning him and another note inside the box, saying, I warned you not to look and the word burn written on a masking tape and he ignored all the warning signs. So, I guess he got what he deserved? Well Done :) 🎬👏👏👏❤❤❤
i kept talking to him through my screen.... dont look, burn them... haha... but sadly those last few minutes was way too dark, i couldnt work out if that was him who shut the box or something else and what was that ending all about, mind you... when someone tells you not to look etc, instinct sets in and you want to and do just that.. haha
Everyone saying he got what he deserved for being nosey... You'd all just immediately assume the photos were haunted?! 🤣 But what if -plot twist- they weren't supernatural at all, but instead evidence of horrific crimes his father/family had committed. Imagine then burning it all without question, because you're a gullible, superstitious dimwit. Try explaining that one to the police. 😂
You had one job mate. One job! Great short otherwise. Loved it!👏🏼👏🏼 All he had to do was listen to his grandfather. Silly boy. He learned the hard way. That curiosity, really does kill the cat!🤦🏻♀️
Man, he told him not to look and burn them. Why don't people ever listen? Especially for his last request!
Because then we wouldn’t have this cool story 😂😂

Very very nice video. Now Alex is captured forever in those photos ... Do as you were told, you had a few chances to turn back.
Nice story fine horror!

Intriguing teaser, but that's not enough. The music was top notch.
A unique idea and well executed. Well done.
That's what happens when people can't respect the will of their deceased loved ones

Full saying is “ Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back” so it got the answer
