Here in Russia, when prisoners work, they are guarded with dogs. In addition, everyone prone to escape works only in leg shackles. Escape is basically impossible.
1:35 That's a BUMPY ride. Them older buses' shocks are very soft. I know from experience when I was in elementary school, when we go into bumps and students would literally bounce around, especially at the back. Good thing school buses these days are not so rocky.

What I would like to point out is that Eubanks had a battering ram with an engine, yet he wasted it just to smash the police car and send it off the road, had he just rammed the rear of the car the bus would’ve made it.
When that van crashed it reminded me of a crash I was in back in 88. I was driving a work van and I was going home from work . I had gone over to a friends house to tend to thier pets while they were on vacation. I saw a beer in their fridge and popped the top and downed it. I headed back to my place trying to go the back roads by the airport . It was a two lane with a big curve . I looked out way ahead of the airport road and saw a guy driving a muscle car passing everyone . When he got closer I could tell he was most likely not going to make the curve and be in my lane. So in my mind I was thinking of what I was going to do. There was a deep ravine toward the airport to my right with a telephone pole also to my right. But I didn't want to go left around the curve and meet him especially in a van, where there is not much of a front end and have a head on collision. So I cranked the wheel right , and scraped the pole and his car sheared into the left side of the van in the rear wheel. His car ends up lifting my van end over end over the ravine. The van was upside down and for a few seconds I couldn't see anything because dust was going into the ductwork of the ac unit and I realized I was upside down in the van. I turned the engine off. I was trapped in my seatbelt and the pressure of being upside down on the belt almost wouldn't give way. Some how I pushed the button on the seatbelt closure and dropped to the headrest of the van. I climbed out went back up the ravine and I saw his car with him still in it. He was ok. The ambulance showed up and the paramedics asked where was the person in the van . I said it was me. He said he never saw anyone come out of an overturned vehicle like I did. With no seatbelt there's no way I could have made it that day..

The officer in the white van was pretty dumb to try and do a pit maneuver on a bus. If you wanna stop a big vehicle, the spike strip is the best bet.
