Then Herc gave Bruno play time when work was over. You've done a super job with both of them, Kyle and Shanon.
I loved watching the pups playing together! Can't wait for the day they can play, wrestle, and run wide open together. What a day that will be! But, I truly enjoyed the walk around with you four on this video!
Kyle, I lost a cat 50 years and it still is a sad spot for me. I have lost many pets in my 60 years of life and I still kind of grieve for all of them. 💔🙏🏻

Hi guys from Scotland. Love your channel and animals. Just a bit of friendly advice with dogs. I'm 68 and had dogs for 65 of them. When you are walking dogs together , or any time they are in the vicinity of each other , make sure you try to relax as much as possible and keep leash slightly slack when possible. I know Kyle especially is a natural worrier like myself. Any slight nervousness will transfer tension to the leash. It will be subconscious but it happens. The dog will feel that tension and take it as a sign to be nervous too or worried about the situation. Any dog trainer will tell you the same thing. Shannon is more relaxed so her dogs are more relaxed too. I used to have to practice deep breaths and shake myself out before walking my dog. After doing it wrong for six years I finally met a dog trainer who told me the same. Hope this may help with Bruno and Hercules. Much love and respect ❤
Yes, you are right, less tension on the leash is better, but people should also know that when walking any dog, it should never be in front of you---either beside you, next to you, or behind---and never pulling the owner. This is where a different type of collar (NOT a harness) and more training would help. Also, FYI, when Herc stopped on the trail and Bruno approached him, the lifting of the front leg was not for Bruno to sniff...it is (in dog language) a warning sign--beware. I am hoping the two dogs will be able to be best buddies soon.
You need to let Hurc put Bruno in his place while Bruno is still a Puppy and willing to summit. They are doing great because yall are doing a great job with them.

Bruno is showing submissive behavior to Herc when Herc warns him off. The bowing down is submissive and playful but not submissive to the point of being a push-over (showing his belly, peeing) and Herc isn't being aggressive at all, just letting Bruno know occasionally to "back off - I'm the alpha here!"
I love it, the boys are out and about at the same time. Herc is confident and Bruno does act like he wants to do the sniff test. Sniff accomplished, and now can I play with my big brother? At the 23:00---adorable seeing them play as they are separated.

Bruno will learn that when a Herc is out and about he is the Alpha! Now Bruno is alpha when Herc is in the Goatville and pen! But Herc is the Alpha of Shady Acres…period! Love seeing them out together and it will get better the more this happens!

They did really well together. My only concern which I am sure you are aware of, is if Bruno would try to herd the goats, Herc might take it wrong as he was trying to "hurt" his goats. But as you say one day at a time, I am also sure Bruno will have his collar on .
