The compound and polish, as he is doing. You can then go back over it with a wax job to preserve a shine. That's about as good as you can get without repainting.
REMOVE THE SCREWS! I have a 16ft x 8.5ft black enclosed trailer that I strip, buff and hand wax once a year. You will get a faster better finish with out them in the way and all the debri that gathers around them. When I took them out, it shaved a half hour of time off over all on each side and looked amazing.

Hell with that there tons those screws spend all day just removing them
