I’m a little late but: mingoes in any games but fallout 2 are not lore friendly since it’s been confirmed they died out when the Chosen one killed them in the mine

Like half of it was "fallout 2 was a mistake for the series" (example: "these really cool sentient talking mutants all die off after 2s events because it was a bad idea", when it wasnt.)
Love this mod with one exception: boom bugs. Those things make survival a nightmare since they can spawn in large groups and will quickly swarm the player in a situation that more or less results in guaranteed death since you can't outrun them even with movement buffs.
Im actually super suprised that they didn't introduce a mutated bobcat into fallout 4s base game, they are super common here in New England and could make some really cool mutated creatures

Critter and creature spawns in the Commonwealth have always bothered me, especially after the DLCs dropped; like ... why *wouldn't* we have ants, wolves, rats, and chickens in the base vanilla game? This mod completely passed under the radar; thanks for the spotlight!

This mod is great I've been using it since it launched this morning... Only read it once but all of the dlc creatures are roaming around now, so I don't need to add other mods?like bloodworms and cave crickets? I've made a pretty good list with Plutonium Creatures and other creature mods.
There's a mid for a creature called the ghoul worm, freaky things that burrow into the ground and pop up like rad scorpions. You can find them in the mod workshop on console too. For the ass blasters and shreiker stages though I have no idea if there are mods that add them in
Omg yes this!!! I am currently learning how to increase the size of creatures soNi can make colossal graboid sized Bloodworm. For Shriekers, there is a shrieker like model in the “Monster Mod” for FNV that I plan on porting over and increasing its HP and damage and agility. I have always wanted to play Fallout as Tremors!
Some Wanamingo‘s are bigger than a Mirlurk queen, and they are scary as hell, but thankfully, they are only found in the glowing sea and easy to spot, so you don’t have to worry about watching your back 24/7 for one.

Im running this mod along with terminator synths and the mutilation - grim hell things ghoul replacer. My commonwealth is absolutely terrifying at times. Here is a list of other mods I'm using for a scary playthrough - Enhanced Blood Textures, gibs of glory, cross-grit gore, realistic gore and dismemberment and mutilated dead bodies (very dark & seen in realistic places but it takes a toll on the conscience and not for the faint of heart) - Nac X & all the DLC patches paired w/ Clarity/NAC X patch (best weather mod out there for Fallout style weather) - Squeaky Doors, Ambient & Reverb sounds, halo flood ghoul sounds and A Touch of Life (further bullet hole distance, tracer smoke trails, shells fall to the ground, realistic hair, integrated lower weapon system, less companion affinity negative reactions, terminal speed 20x faster, mini nukes cause rad areas, all robot NPC's are moddable, ghouls are slightly slower etc) - too many others to list from alternative start, better settlers, better stores, combined arms etc. I play on Very Hard and holy crap the game kicks my ass and I love it. (I slightly cheat a few perks with cheat terminal but nothing OP)
I found your channel yesterday and I'm hooked, I recently got back into Fallout 4 Modding and I have a mod recommendation for you: Giant Ants of The Commonwealth. It adds the Nuka World Ants into the Commonwealth with spawn points, just avoid the satellite near Sanctuary.

This reminds me of the mod I talked about in the Discord awhile ago. A mod that added a bunch of animals. I missed that mod, but now I have this beauty to enjoy instead. 💙
this mod would make survival mode alot more fun and easier since there are now more sources of meat (if their meat as been implemented as cookable). i’m switching to survival and downloading this! 👍
For an art major, this mod is very well put together. I will admit that some of the creatures are sometimes too difficult to kill especially at high levels but besides from that, I will be using this mod from now on in my playthroughs
For anyone reading this and thinking about getting this mod just be aware of the caveat that some of these encounters can be utterly debilitating if you're playing on higher difficulties. I played on survival after installing MM and its associated extensions and was ambushed right outside of vault 111 by a hermit crab, then down by arcjet encountered a honeybeast on one side of me and some purple gulper on the other. They honeybeast had mutant bee swarms that could fly quite quick and would 1 shot me while taking multiple close range shotgun shells to down even one. The honeybeast itself ate something like 12 molotovs and 7 frags by itself and the healthbar barely budged. The purple gulper was also super durable and a 1 hit killer. I was level 5 when I ran into these things.
This sort of world building content should have been in the from the get go, mods shouldn't be so necessary to fill out so much of the these big budget, AAA Rpg games.
I like that it's based on reasonable lore-friendly concepts and that there's nothing that couldn't be there. And would absolutely love to add it to my load order. If only it didn't require DLC. Because until Beth fixes the main story (which we all know won't happen by now) I refuse to give them more money for DLC that doesn't fix the base game. I really wish more mod authors would support vanilla.
Fixing the story would literally require to hire back the voice actors, redo quests, add new scripts and much more. It's too much work compared to a Bugfix. Ans I doubt they'll fix something they don't consider broken. Far Harbor is pretty good, though.
LOVE THIS MOD !!! Finally MORE Creatures, BUT now we need a WATER weapon !!! A few years back I saw a mod that evidently never made it to us at least on consoles ; a working SPEARGUN ! A mod review on this ,showed it being used on land ? This review showed the player when using it & when he shoots a spear (bubbles ?) would follow the spear out of the gun ,the author said this shows it was meant to be used under water , but for whatever reason it was CUT from the game !!! Speargun mod creator ,if you're out there, this mod could now be a Unique weapon giving you lots of downloads & likes, hint hint !!!
I love this. Most of these are just creatures that should be there in the first place and just make the world feel more alive. Running around with the A Forest mod, and having some ducks swim by in the creek was an experience!
See I am a hunter in Fallout 76, Radstags and Yao-Gui mostly, I use a traditional hunting rifle and occasionally black-powder rifle if I'm feeling good, and I will simply say this as a professional, DO NOT USE A PLASMA WEAPON TO HUNT ANIMALS! Its dirty, and it ruins the hunt. Well done for switching to the Maxwell though so I won't go full blown "You aren't a true hunter" on ya' lmao. Still love your content man, see you in the next one.
about frellin time, this is definitely a mod that i shall be using when i eventually play fo4. im one of the lucky ones who has never completed the game and only done about 40-50% & that was mainly gained from scapping & building, i hav'nt even met the institute, if i remember right regarding quests i went on a quest with dance & i think caite was my companion, i tested & run about 250 mods to see which ones were stable & added to the emersion, i have all the dlc's but with all these damn fantastic mods you keep throwing up i just don't know were to begin, lol,
I guess the quest could be about you having to fight the hogs off in waves with only pistols, somehow, since that guy the meme came from wanted a rifle to shoot hordes of hogs with. Or you could go the other direction and make the quest involve some unique hog-slaying rifle, IDK.

Tried it out in my most recent build… it’s a bummer that it doesn’t have more dynamic control over the spawns w a holotape or mod manager. It did actually feel quite cramped/overwhelming, and for me, the option to turn off far harbor creatures in the CW would have been nice. I’m not too keen on a hermit crab clearing out entire dungeons messing w quests and overall difficulty. It also kind of messes up any immersive hunting mods you have installed bc there’s not integration for those. Wanted to use it so badly but it was just not working for me
I want a giant worm that just eats everything. Call it the junk worm or something, starts small but grows and grows. Moves on from small prey like rad roaches to things like mole rats and then rad stags and people and so on and so forth. Growing large enough to rival Deathclaws and *maybe* Mirelurk Queens
1:30 it’s nice seeing someone implement the Wannamingos into Fallout 4! They were such interesting creatures in Fallout 2

The Commonweath is a lot more active with this mod installed. I approve. Also, "Radcoon junklord" and "Radcoon junkernaut". Got to love that.
This is one of those mods that'd go in my load order, and never be allowed to leave.

FO4 "dolphins" can apparently swallow people whole, as there is a static encounter with an entire human skeleton hanging out of one's belly.
