Dear Golf Doctor, I subscribed to your videos and it is time to give you feedback and thank you immensely. Through your short video clips, I have, in less than 2 years broke 100, and last week broke 90 twice in 3 days...85 & 86 gross. Again, thank you. Best, Maurice.
Thank you for taking the time to get in touch Maurice. I am honoured to have played a small part in your fantastic improvement. You have made my day. Honestly. I make videos to help golfers play better golf. Congratulations on your improvement. That is an outstanding effort. Can I ask you which video/videos have helped you the most? . Thanks again for getting in touch. Brian
@@fitzygolfpro The videos on course management, short game...specifically advice on settling on one club to chip and run into the green; deciding where you want to miss the green & off course play a club that gives you 7 out of 10. Thank you @Joseph Berner I appreciate your feed back. It really is simple it just takes a little practice. When things go wrong it is because people swing a little fast. Let me know how it goes.
Such control, beautiful to watch. Reasonably ok going left to right but work needed right to left. Will need to see what's available from Thursday onward. Stay well and safe Thanks
Hi Fitzy, Thanks for your practical approach. The one variable you did not mention: what is the ball position? Is it still off your left heel or further back in your stance? cheers, jk
Hi Brian I love all your videos and feel lik❤e I have a great golf coach with your advice. This is a good one, I would appreciate one that covered options and a little technique on getting out of fairway bunkers 150-200 yards out. I’ve stopped trying to reach the green and instead use a 9 iron to get out safely and leave a pitch in. Thanks from Oregon,USA

G'day Brian. I came back to this old video after watching this mornings video. i hope you get this message. Can you please tell me what club you used in this video? Can you please do a video on slicing the ball out of the trees..??

I'm glad you liked it Tom. It is a good one to practice. I think it's great to experiment with the different clubs in the bag, The more loft the less it turns..... Thanks for watching. Brian
A few people have asked me the same question Tom. I will try to film it Friday and put it out in the next couple of weeks. It just depends on weather and course availability. Good suggestion Brian
Now that is a shot I can play. The hard part is getting the correct loft to do it. Far too easy to take a 5 iron and deloft it into a 1 iron and hit it 5 yards as it grabs the rough.
@@fitzygolfpro My mental thought is always 'slow down' for a draw. It seems to work. Although a fair amount of the time it's just a pull if I'm honest.

@@fitzygolfpro Hello, Brian! Are you going to do a video on slicing or fading the ball around a tree, using irons or woods?
A few people have asked me the same question Tom.
I will try to film it Friday and put it out in the next couple of weeks. It just depends on weather and course availability.
Good suggestion
Brian
Hi Brian. Could you do a left to right equivalent. I struggle keeping the ball below the branches in front. MikeE
I have it on the list Mike. If all the moons are in alignment I might even film it on Friday.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Brian
Thanks Doc. I can do it pretty well from the fairway, but almost never from the rough...
It just takes a little practice on the course.
That’s all.
Hi Fitzy, just wondering where you would position the ball for a hook shot around trees? cheers Jeff
Keep it in the middle for this one. You could play it back a little but you run the risk of smothering the ball. I like the middle.
Brian
Awesome, thanks mate@@fitzygolfpro
Now that is a shot I can play. The hard part is getting the correct loft to do it. Far too easy to take a 5 iron and deloft it into a 1 iron and hit it 5 yards as it grabs the rough.
Indeed. Loft is your friend here.
Just do things a little less and you should be able to hit a more controlled draw shot.
Brian

Slowing down for all improvised shots is a great thing.
why are there no american 'golf trainers' online?
I think there are lots of them. I notice them all the time.
