To this day, the joke of "What would an angry dictator say right now?" "Um... 'I am gonna let the fairy go.'?" "NO! Nice try, though, I respect that. He'd say 'SILENCE!'"
I never forgot this special. It's probably the best one outside of the Power Hour trilogy with Jimmy Neutron. And one of my favorite lines from Fairly Odd Parents comes from Crocker and Wanda. Crocker: What would an angry dictator say right now? Wanda: I'm gonna let the fairy go?! Crocket: NO! Good try though, i respect that, he'd say SILENCE. Then there's also Crocker saying "Ha, you missed!"and Timmy replying "Wasn't aiminig at ya".
I actually think this was one of the best things that ever came out of the franchise. It's a solid story. Pretty much everything that Fairly Odd Parents was all about pushed to the max. And I don't understand how it is "jarring" to have an opening song. That's not exactly unique. Most cartoon specials did that.
LS Mark covered it. Also, I'm pretty sure everyone still remembers it by this point, so you're probably one of those people who believes the series stopped being good after Season 5, similar to what the SpongeBob fanbase would constantly say about that series after Season 3.
Crocker being able to cut the magic floss with a blast of magic is actually a plothole, because it's established early on that magic can't destroy magic items. If he snapped it with his hands that scene would have worked consistently.
What I never understood was, when Jorgen changed the way fairies work after Bippy changed the world, shouldn’t Timmy lose his memory of Cosmo and Wanda? Since technically they aren’t his fairies anymore. I guess you could *kinda* say that Jorgen was letting it play out until it was absolutely necessary to do something but like……nah.

That TV movie was bad ass! I still feel sorry for Timmy for only using his fairyversary muffin to get Cosmo and Wanda back instead of using the muffin for wishing any rule free wish he wanted.
He could've wished he had an infinite amount of muffins, like once it's entirely eaten it poofs back to how it was. I have a felling someone made a new rule (most likely Timmy) to where the magic muffin can only work on kids who have magical fairies and to everyone who doesn't have them, it'll just taste like a normal muffin and nothing else
@@AggressivelyAverage Since he's still biologically a 10-year old, he'd have much more neuroplasticity than an adult.
