Amen! Jesus willing obey His Father and died on the Cross as the last sacrifice for sin. Our Savior said "It is Finished" as He defeated death and sin. By accepting The Holy Spirit into my life my spiritual body will live for eternity, with God and Jesus, in the Glorious New Jerusalem. Jesus has made my reservation for me. Until then I need to keep busy fishing for souls. I like to go to the places the lost and addicted are at. The desperate ones outta money and hope. With some gentle words they seem more willing to listen. I'll buy them a Pepsi and something to eat. I wanna draw them near Jesus. I can't give them all they need. I wonder if the stone that used to be in Westminster Anby , was really Jacob's pillow ? The stone was sent to Scotland for political reasons . The stone is smooth and has no sharp corners, it looks like a pillow made of stone . How amazing are that Jacob wrestled with the angel until he was blessed . I don't know what I would do faced with an angel .

Jacob's ladder....I would plead with y'all to seek the Spirit in this matter. Quoting biblical verse alone will not answer the truth encapsulated within this account. Ppl used a good size stone to lay their head to be able to prevent insects from entering their ears nose and mouth not only that but to be able to hear should an wild animal should or anyone coming towards his place.
This Ladder was found few years ago and it's shown now in a Museum along side the Sward of Bil'am.

08/10/2020 it's now 16;43pm well I'm sure this is a start to many more writings!! so today I walked into the park like always with max for his walk!
And in general weather was cloudy as it had been raining not long before so anyway I let max of the lead and i just start talking with God asking him to come out and say hello even for 2 mins talking to God and looking at the sun
while I did it!!! with in seconds the clouds went away ! and a new formation started!!!
I wish I had a camera phone but I don't for other reasons! anyway the sky cleared like watching a tv!! the clouds, well they turned to like a stair case to heaven literally!!

How did Jacob's father not recognize Jacob's voice and know he wasn't Esau?
I always figured it was because he was so elderly that his hearing was fading, much like many older folks today have trouble hearing.

@@starrystarrynight9822 Neither Jacob nor Rebecca “exploited” anybody in that story. The simple fact is that it was God’s sovereign will for Jacob to receive the birthright & that’s ultimately why he did. Not because he was “deceptive”, but because the sovereign LORD willed it to be.

Spreading the word of God is not just for a preacher it is a job for all believers. We have to let people know what is at stake, we must fully inform ppl about what the bible says in hope of snatching them out of the clutches of Satan on the path to hell, totally blinded by the world. Serious self examination is necessary because the stakes are high. There is so much evidence in the bible of salvation and if you have none of it You are likely in big trouble and need to immediately throw yourself on the mercy of God and repent for sins and turn to Jesus in hopes that he will spare your soul from the lake of fire. The bible says if our gospel is hid, it is hid from those who are perishing, the God of this world (satan) has blinded their eyes so they cant see and cannot hear). PERISHING in contrast Jesus said he who believes in me WIll never die. Remember God knows whats in the heart if it is a life saving faith. Or do you have a kind of faith where none of this is really relevant, merely a waste of time. Jesus really asks for very little in light of eternal bliss, a Kingdom that will never end. With perfect justice and peace. Even in our life today though we have to give us things his way is better. He is the way the truth and the life and as the bible says broad is the way that leads to destruction. But that Narrow gate Jesus mentions leads to life. Jesus said if you seek me you will find me if you seek me with all your heart. Romans 10:9 if you can confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your that God has raised him from the dead you shall be saved. It is with the mouth one confesses and with the heart one believes unto salvation. Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jacob raised his head above the ground by placing his head on a stone. God's creation not his creation. Jacob ran away. Each generation of birth is created by man and each generation extends outwardly away from the point of Adam and Eves conception of life. He had to give up running away to accept God.

I had a similar dream, or vision. I saw a Ladder from Heaven to Earth and Angels were going up and down the Ladder. The Angels held a Book in their hand and it was for recording the goings on for each person daily. The Angel would record, then take the Book back up to Heaven on the Ladder. Every time the Angel would reach the top, the Door would Open for the Angel to walk through, then the Door would close, and make a Slamming Sound. I was wondering Who is Slamming a Door, making that Noise? Then I heard an Angel say, we have to turn the Volume down. So, then I didn't hear it any more. But, the Angels still Come down with their Book, Record, then take it back up to Heaven. Isn't that something! That is what is meant in the Bible, The Angels Open the Books! Sherry M
