Same thing can be said for hurts. He's being carried by Smitty & AJ brown along with the eagles good ass defense. Lol so don't even go there.

Nick Saban always thought upperclassmen should play before everyone else. That’s why it was so hard for Saban to replace Jalen Hurts with Tua.
This is DeBoer’s team and DeBoer doesn’t give a 🤬. He’s going to play the best players and it doesn’t matter if the fan favorite is sitting on the bench. So don’t count out Ty Simpson starting sometime this season.
I wouldn't bet on it, half the team & fan base would have his head on a steak. He'd be labeled as a racist too.
Milroe is the guy, but Simpson will be good when his time comes. No need to rush the development process. As a Bama fan, we've seen countless quarterbacks wait their turn and ultimately succeed because of this, we should know this by now. Milroe is better than Hurts was when it comes to passing already honestly, so if he continues to improve on his reads, then he'll be fine. Simpson has made improvements also, so when he eventually becomes a starter next year after Milroe leaves, he'll be unstoppable also.

😂😂😂 I've been saying it for the last 2 years, but I just got tired of arguing with Coach Smook and Coach Shawn about it. I LOVE Jalen Milroe, but I think Ty Simpson should've been the starting QB! Ty throws a better ball, Ty goes through his progressions better, Jalen is the faster and more athletic QB, but Ty is athletic too! They were VERY patient with Jalen last year. I feel had they done that with Ty after that S. Florida game, Bama would've gone farther last year. I could be 100% wrong, but that's MY OPINION!

All you’re looking at in these videos is a guy throwing balls with no pads and no defense. This is like a basketball players going out and shooting 70% on the gun and being declared an elite shooter in March Madness.
He hasn’t done it cause he’s never been given a true fair chance, USF was bs and he was thrown into a unwinnable situation and even then he was the one who won the game and got us out of trouble. No one is saying Jalen can’t do it or be successful but if Ty were given a fair legit chance to be the starter for 4 games he’d come out the better QB I guarantee it.

For all those saying Milroe is not good, please remember week 3 last season. Please remember the end of the Iron Bowl. Please remember the SEC championship. Do you think Bama gets there without Milroe? Do you think Saban ,the GOAT, would have played Milroe over Ty if he wasn’t the best QB? He had the option to pick someone to start Week 3…Ty wasn’t selected. ALL coaches play the players who will give the best chance to be successful. So please ask yourself if Ty is the best, why hasn’t he been named starter. I was at A-day, Ty is NOT the most complete QB on the roster. Milroe was the best option last year and what I saw at A-day the best option this year. I have nothing against Ty.
