Hi Ellie.. just apply again ...i have worked in television years ago and know many who still do ..this happens all the time ,especially in reality tv. A dry run is almost like being an extra who may or may not be picked up....its like final auditons..its never a given. People get dropped at the last minute for many reasons. If this is your dream you will have to have a tough skin. What you should do is contact the Casting director that you worked with and tell them you want to be put forward for all casting opportunities and keep in contact with them. One of my good friends was dropped last minute from a similar show .... because they decided there was too many blondes in the line up!!! You would be on top of the casting because you had come so far in the audition process. I hope you reconsider because for you this is still a live opportunity that you should jump on. You have made this personal and you need to understand how fickle the industry is. The camera loves you..and your so young ..so let me leave you with this thought... Everyone who was ever on love island probably went through a similar experience before getting cast.
Jess from LI season 1 (2015) was also a dry runner but they loved her so much she ended up being a main cast member. And won lol
