I used to be an techy at Krell, if you have a cover to protect the speaker, paper is as good as any. Needs to be a lightweight material that can accurately vibrate for sound. If the speaker was exposed, an AF membrane would be best but for those protected speakers, paper is always used across all premium brands.
Funny enough I was laying underneath my 2003 Audi TT 3.2 V6 Mk1 roadster today on the road price was £35000 19years ago , you we’re sticking plastic on the paint work , I was spraying Under-seal on the rust 😂
Ironically the worst bit for stone chips (the grill) hasn't even been done 🤣🤣🤣😍😍
The grill surround was done. The middle bit of the grill is impossible to PPF. He’d still be doing it now 🤷🏼♂️
Ppf costs a lot, surely a bit of paint in a few years would be cheaper.

If I were to purchase an RS3 then this would definitely be the spec I'd go for.
Just a shame about the interior doesn't get the green trim, as it really lifts the inside.
The speakers are covered so they don't need special material. Yeah the magnets small but that's because it most the bass is sent to subwoofer. Every b&o I've tried I've loved it

I've had mine for about a month now, green saloon like you. Just waiting for someone to unlock the ecu to get Rid of the opfs and make it actually sound like an RS Car!
Surprising how having the smaller rear discs throws the look out. Will look mint with the larger rear too.

Not a big Audi fan but that is a very nice car. £65k is a lot for an A3 but it does look smart. Ben with that great intro, if TH-cam don’t work out then you should think about being a car salesman 👌

Love the colour! Not much help to you, but it's helped me order the Focus ST in Mean Green. Wouldn't say no to a RS3, but my money tree isn't growing 😂 looking forward to seeing this as it gets more stuff done

Great vid, I love the technical vids, showing how things are done like wrapping around the edges that some other companies don’t, the car being stripped etc. I’d put a gloss wrap on the roof and get the silver bits off the wheels, poss do the callipers a diff colour…… red? Oh and carbon mirror covers and spoiler as mentioned, Urban Automotive are working on a kit according to their latest vid.
Red callipers would look horrible with the green colour, and the roof looks fine as it is

No worries regards the paper cone of the drive-unit(speaker) there's pros & cons for all sorts of materials used for speaker diaphrams(the bit that moves) paper is still widely use even in high end drive-units.

i really hope we get to see it being ragged about unlike last rs3. the only vids were it in the bloody garage and never got to see it after the tune. praying you do more driving this time and a lot less vids of it in garage those vids no where near as good as you boys on the road giving it the beans
I say you cant do all this to a car on PCP or lease. Its the same as a rented house where you as the renter can only do certain things with the house as its not solely yours. What it says to me is you find things quality wise with a car that costs 65 grand is absolutely shocking
You ever walked around a McLaren? Twice the money and the panel gaps are terrible on the ones we’ve seen. Tesla Performance models are £100k+ too and from what we’ve seen they are even worse… no denying the RS3 is an expensive car but there’s cars double the money of this that are no better 👍🏼
@@EVILGT Yes i work in the automotive industry and i do see a lot of rubbish but the standards we build cars to are way better than that. I know Audi have been cutting some very big corners in the last couple of years and i can quite honestly say its gonna hurt them in the long run as customers are not use to poor build quality and cheap plastics in the cabin of cars 40K plus

When you said you were getting the green RS3 I wasn’t sure as it wouldn’t be my choice of colour but my uncle had a mk1 escort that colour and it was an awesome car. Looking forward to loads of shenanigans with that yoke. 👍🏻👍🏻

I imagine a wheel swap is incoming , but you should have got them just to wrap the wheels all black and make the calipers green matching the car ..
The car just needs everything that isn't black, making black, with black windows, and fake carbon shit stuck to as many places as possible.
Then it will look how Audi's are supposed to look :-))
Am I the only one who finds it weird having 265 on the front and 245 on the rear. Surely 265 all round would be better for a square track plus sort out the rear spacing issues. Either way still a great motor have fun guys and keep up the great work.

Staggered set up has been common on RS3 for a few iterations depending on what alloys you go for. The last versions ‘Rotor’ alloys were the same. It’s fine.
Probably helps with minimise any understeer tbf.
It’s because the chassis is fundamentally flawed. This is the cheapest solution to try and stop the understeer. Very poor from Audi

Nothing wrong with paper speakers, however that one looks a bit weedy, the magnet is tiny.
