    0:30 Unless your audience is Olympic swimmers and their fans (which is approximately the population of Luxembourg--I jest), stop using "Olympic-sized swimming pools" for comparison. Use "football pitch" at 1/2 meters depth instead. For example: "approximately 822,000 football pitches at 1/2 meter depth each". I'll bet more people can visualize the size of a football pitch at 1/2 meter depth than one Olympic-sized swimming pool.
    Better, yet, do your homework and say, "a tad over 1,500 Colosseums [insert picture of the Colosseum]." Nearly everyone who's never been to Rome can visualize 1 Colosseum , and imagine 1,500+ of them.
    Yes, THAT is an immense volume of waste.
