You made that look very simple thankyou, and how you have explained it step by step is going to make my set up so much easier to achieve in a short amount of time my first attempt at doing a tarp on my vehicle was not the greatest I was grateful the wind picked up n I took it all down I had a sag in the centre I cldnt figure out but you highlighted this issue in ur video 😊, I need sum HD suction cups to have a better outcome

You're welcome. if you want rainwater to flow away faster, make the corner pole lower than the middle pole (A-Frame style). But It may rub the tarp when you open/close the door. It depends on your vehicle shape too. Do let me know if you face any issues ☺

@@ethanhorizon I have a Toyota Previa ppl mover van i tuk sum seats out but left the back row coz I can see myself stealing my grandson for an ovanight adventure n set up a bed in the back, a tarp along the side and a burner for cooking at the beach but can I ask a quick question pls,(A frame S.U) the corner pole would I lower it to the same level as the corner attached to the front of the van or lower for the rain to flow away? The front of the van is lower than the back makes ur set up ideal for my van I think.

@@alaine5083 For A-frame style, the rear corner pole can be higher than the front corner pole, as long as the middle pole is higher than both corner poles (and your van) for rainwater drain. You can make both corner pole same height, but seems like it will be an issue when you open/close car door. My suggestion is lower both corner poles to a certain extent without affecting the door open/close movement. You can experiment different height and see which is more suitable. My suggestion may not correct as I haven't tried it on Toyota Previa. Please note if your tarp is very large, you may need more poles/pegs/suction cup.

Came looking for tarp setup ideas and found that and then some. Love the folding trick. Any chance you can post a link to those suction cups you used here? I’ve checked on Amazon and found some with very negative reviews. Yours seem pretty heavy duty and functional. Thanks!
