seventimestable he’s an intelligent fireball. It’s quite easy for Stephen to overtake his guests due to his intelligence but he generally includes them into a conversation and meets them on their level. Justin seemed a little subdued in this interview so Stephen was stoking up the audience.

Basically he's saying that Woody Allen is not a good actors' director but that he himself isn't that good of an actor. I think that's fun, the autodepreciative part of the story really shines the inner good and ecstatic person he seems to be :)

That was awkward. There were a couple of times Justin finished saying something and Stephen just left him hanging with an awkward smile and silence and then went straight into a different topic without acknowledging or closing out what Justin said. I don’t watch him much so I don’t know if he’s always like that. Very unnerving.

To be fair, movies aren't only about the director. An entire team of people worked on them, so avoiding a movie for one person hurts everyone else too. It'd be like finding out a sexual predator lived somewhere, so you nuke the entire neighbourhood out of existence.
And the Spacey allegations, unless something else happened I didn't hear about, were fairly minor.

While probably on a pain killer for legit reasons, I don't think the interview was as bad or odd as people make it out to be. Might have been a little nervous being his first time on, and he didn't have his normal wingman(Fallon) to riff with. He may have been MADE to do this show instead of Fallon to promote(as Jimmy's numbers are stating to tank), an Justin might not have wanted to. Maybe he wanted to be boring to show loyalty to Jimmy. But I still wonder if he was on a pain killer as he said he hurt his back.

This is so highly disappointing. 'The late show with Stephen Colbert' has always seemed to have a moral standard. Especially since I believe Stephen Colbert believes people like Charlie Rose and Roy Moore to be sexual predators and therefore satirizes them in his monologues.

Justin Timberlake is a bit of a bad sport on not wanting to introduce Kate Winslet as an Award winning actress and why not he too. Kate deserves that intro, she has won 3 awards. When you hear Kate tell the story about hearing him pee, it's in a positive note "Good morning". When you hear Justin tell it, it's like "I can hear you wee again". Which is the truth of the same scene? I would say Kate's version.
